We enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful morning sail out of Southwest Harbor. It was a beautiful, clear day, we saw seals and porpoises, and we enjoyed the smaller boat and group size vs a big boat. I definitely recommend leaving out of Southwest Harbor—we were able to walk, it was easy to find, and there were no crowds or traffic to fight. The captain and staff were friendly and fun, and the merch is super soft. If you want a mellow morning on the water, you can’t go wrong with this group.

Definitely worth your time and money! My husband, kids, and I did the lobstering seal boat tour and have no regrets. Our tour guide and captain were great. Super informative and knowledgeable about everything Maine! They were very patient with my kids as well when they wanted to hold the lobsters. 🦞 I would recommend you add this to your itinerary

Carl was a great tour guide. This was a really enjoyable experience! Our boat was accompanied by other cool passengers so it was extra enjoyable. We didn’t really get a sunset as it was super cloudy but it was still cool to see Acadia from a different viewpoint.. and we got to see some seals! 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing boat tour! Captain Joe (I believe that was his name) and Jessica were absolutely fantastic and taught us so much about lobster fishing. Jessica was fun, answered all our questions, and made the boat ride a wonderful experience. We saw beautiful views, seals, and other wildlife. We learned so much about the local community, the boats in the harbor, and the lobster industry. Out of all the things we did in our 5 days in the area, this experience was my favorite!

Explored the park by sea while sailing on the Alice. We sailed through the Somes Sound, past the Cranberry Islands, and Bear Island Lighthouse. We saw a few seals pop their heads out of the water and a lot of sea birds. Our captain gave some history and answered any questions we had about lobstermen, wildlife, or sailing along the way. He was a very experienced sailor who travels the world on his own sail boat! It was a beautiful and peaceful way to see the island from the water.
