We had a great first sailing experience on Alice with Captain Ben. Beautiful day, calm water, nice wind - all made for a great time to see the landscape and water. Captain Ben was great and all of the pre-sail communication made for an all around good trip.

We had a wonderful time on our sunset cruise aboard The Elizabeth. Capt Evan and Victoria were very knowledgeable and made sure we saw as much as we could while out on the water. This included not only lobsters and stone crabs but harbor porpoise, seals and a bald eagle. They shared stories about living and working in the harbor and a few interesting details about the famous houses on the water. The Sail Acadia boat tour was a highlight of our trip. We were originally schedule for a morning when rain was scheduled and were relieved to be able to change dates at the last minute.

We had a wonderful experience on the sunset sail aboard the Alice E. Captain John was funny, kind, and very knowledgeable. We chose this specific trip because most other charters have 20+ people on them this sail had a max of 6 (5 on our specific trip). It was beautiful weather, calm water, and an incredibly relaxing and wonderful experience. Absolutely worth the price and would do this again with Sail Acadia anytime.

We had a wonderful experience on this lobster tour with our two young children. It was such a fun, interactive, and memorable experience for our family. Both of our kids felt comfortable enough to touch the lobsters, which was a highlight of the trip.
The tour was also very informative, and we really appreciated that the guide took the time to answer everyone’s questions instead of simply giving a one-way presentation. It made the experience feel personal and engaging.
The tour lasted about two hours and gave us a beautiful look around the South Harbor area. Keeping the attention of a three-year-old and a one-year-old for that long can be challenging, but our children stayed engaged and had a great time. We highly recommend this tour, especially for families with young kids!
