  We had such a great experience with Trey for two days for my husband’s birthday trip. We caught yellowfin and black fin tuna the first day and 126 sheepshead in two hours on the second day. I have zero experience with fishing and Trey and his deckhands were very kind and helpful. Trey was so professional, polite and fun. The next time we plan to fish in Louisiana, we’ll be booking another trip with Bent Rod.

  Don't let his age fool you. Trey is a professional and he's great at what he does. We did a full day offshore and a half day inshore, and he put us on some nice yellowtail, a white marlin, and an absolute mountain of spawning sheepshead. Just a great experience on a great boat with a professional crew. You can't ask for more. We've got gulf fishing a lot closer to home, but Bentrod was worth the drive!

  I’m a seasoned fisherman and have been on many charters! Captain Trey is top notch! He was easy to communicate with, personable, extremely knowledgeable and professional! Great time I highly recommend him!

  Had an awesome trip with Capt. Trey July 14. We were hoping to get some Snapper and maybe a Cobia or two. We Caught a limit of Snapper, 25 Vermillion and a Cobia. We had a limit of Snapper when some storms developed and it was time to start making our way in, but he made the right call to head further south until they went by, and instead of hurrying to get back in, he took us to another spot where we caught 25 B-Liners. And even when our time was over, he still stopped at 3 spots trying for a Cobia, where we picked one up at 35-40 lbs. Capt. Trey went way out of his way to get us what we were hoping for. And he played great music the whole time! We will book with him again.

  We took a Charter Trip out of Grand Isle with Bent Rod’s. Everything exceeded our expectation. Captain Trey got us right on the fish. We all came home with plenty Snapper to fill our bellies. I was very impressed with Captain Trey for such a young man and I highly recommend Bent Rod’s for your next offshore trip.
