  These guys were the most considerate and kind, taking very good care of my belongings. I was very much at ease using Shetler and will definitely recommend them to anyone I know who is moving. From the Estimater to the Office Staff, all the way through to the finish with the hard work of the actual Movers I could not have been treated anymore at a greater level of comfort than I was. They are excellent!

  I haven't used a moving company in years. So, I didn't know what to expect. I was very surprised, and happy, with my service. The guys were great, in going over details, and suggestions for me. They were at my house early, and was very quick, and, efficient in getting my furniture moved. And, even took less time than expected! Definitely 5 stars all the way. I highly recommend Shetler to anyone needing a moving company

  Leaving a review in this manner is quite out of character, but necessary for future customers of Shetler Moving. Upon the moving crews arrival, I was informed that the way in which I packed the boxes was incorrect. Although this was frustrating, as no instructions were provided, I persisted in being helpful and listening to the crew leader in my home. That said, shortly after the box complaint, an overarching issue appeared. The two crew leaders, Sean and DJ , acted upon nothing in their job description, but rather complaining, using foul language, while finally threatening to fight one another on MY PROPERTY! As expected, I requested an alternate crew to transport and unload my furniture as there were too many issues with the prior group of men. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN a dispute timeline would appear in this moving process. The completion of the move was outside the intended moving window. Once I requested a call from senior leadership, I found John Shetler to be as disappointing as the crews he employs. Initially, I was offered a $500 discount because of the experience with this moving crew. Ultimately, I was offered $1000, hush money, this reduced rate was a joke considering the overall cost of this move! In the letter sent, it was stated if we accept this goodwill payment, we can't comment or write a review sharing our UNPRODUCTIVE experience without needing legal representation. I opted to refuse the hush money to share this occurrence with the public as a precautionary measure. Additionally, when our furniture delivery was complete, we found 10+ broken pieces of furniture. We still have no hardware for our dining room table, as it is still lying in the floor. This crew that tends to boast 30 plus years of experience, didn't even properly pack or send the hardware for any of the furniture. What a complete joke!! We are in the process of filing a claim for our damaged antique furniture. Don't use this organization for any moving needs.
