  UPDATE - Rosa called me after seeing this review and took exception with the fact that I said she had not called me back and said she left a message for me the day before - no message and no missed call on my end. She then said she'd call be back with an update by the end of the day. Never did. I called again the next day and was told she's busy and could call me back.... ShipSmart sent a team to my home to furniture items - an antique desk and bookcase and 4 paintings/artwork. The packers were in my home for approximately 15 minutes. When I offered them a drink on their way out, I was told I should tip them because they are going to take care of my things. I came back with $60, $20 for each man and was asked if that was all I had and I said yes. I reported the incident to ShipSmart telling them that I was worried about my items. I was told the issue would be reported and escalated. I told ShipSmart that I was going to pay by credit card because I was worried. My desk arrived with two legs sheared off. No damage to the outside of the box. I sought repair and was told this was intentional aggressive damage. ShipSmart keeps telling me they are looking into it and will get back to me but the end of the day. I have had to call multiple times and keep getting redirected. Apparently Rosa Castillo is the only one who can help me and she said she'd get back to by end of day more than a week ago and now won't respond at all. So disappointed because their presale team was professional and responsive so they had my confidence to handle the shipment. I should have just used UShip the risk is equal and the middle man is cut out so the cost is lower.

  I had a great experience with Ship Smart! Basically, Ship Smart offers moving services for customers who need to ship more stuff than is possible via mail, but less stuff than would justify working with moving companies which tend to have very high minimum quotes. In my case, I needed to move one bedroom's worth of furniture and personal items. Ship Smart was PERFECTLY suited to this task. They made a relatively complicated process -- picking up one bedroom's worth of items, storing them for two months, and shipping them across the country -- very simple. The Ship Smart officials were amazing about explaining my options over the phone and rapidly getting me a quote. Unlike most moving services, this felt 100% tailored to my exact needs; therefore, I didn't end up feeling like I overpaid. And for what it's worth, the gentlemen who picked up/delivered my stuff were super cool and professional!

  Damaged all of my furniture, took almost 6 weeks to receive my shipment and I never got shipment updates. Whenever I called to ask about the status of my shipment, I was pressured to buy insurance by the agents, I kept declining, as I had never had to buy insurance for movers before- no issues. Along with waiting almost 6 weeks for my furniture, they refused to bring my shipment upstairs unless I paid an additional $150, since I have an upstairs condo. It was one flight, and directly to my door. I even paid $100 for have my furniture put back together, which wasn’t even necessary since my bed snaps together. Every single item I received was damaged. Massive obstruction to my headboard, my boxes smashed, scratches on my cherrywood table, bed frame, end tables and coffee table. My bank wasn’t able to settle this; I tried to talk to ShipSmart about this, only for them to basically say it’s too bad- should’ve gotten insurance. An absolute UDAAP violation. I will be contacting the better business bureau, or going to court.

  Best service in industry. Best price for top quality service. I was really surprised the way I received my items and delivered on time. Helpful team to service my needs. One of my friend had to pay double the price of quotation given by 'X' company which i thought would happen with myself with Ship Smart, but thanks to Ship Smart for their outstanding service. I would definitely use the services of Ship Smart for my future moves :-) and suggested to my friends..
