From the moment we got on the boat, he made us feel safe, comfortable, and excited for the day ahead. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to teach us about fishing along the way, making it a fun learning experience for the whole family. Most importantly, he made sure everyone caught fish, including our kids, ages 7 and 8! Seeing how excited they were made the trip even more special. This was our family's first guided fishing trip, and Captain Kyle exceeded every expectation. We had an amazing time, made great memories, and can't wait to do it again. We highly recommend Native Guided Fishing, especially for families looking for a fun, safe, and unforgettable adventure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

He was very professional and engaging, and he kept us on lots of fish throughout the day (we saw lots of local wildlife too, including manatees). Our group included kids and a grandparent, and everybody really enjoyed the trip. Would definitely go with them again!

He was very patient, friendly and fun to be out on the water with. The boat was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a nice ride out to our destinations. The fishing was great, and we brought home a bunch of snapper and trout. Cooper did a nice job filleting the fish and packing them on ice. It was a really great day -- would book this again in a heartbeat.

This was the first fishing trip for our girls, Lilia and Fiona, and Kyle made it such an unforgettable experience. Our group included Lilia, Fiona, my sister, Anthony, and me, and every single one of us had a blast. The girls were so excited with every catch, and seeing their smiles made the day even more special. Kyle’s passion for what he does really shows, and he made us all feel comfortable, whether we were experienced or complete beginners. What should we bring and is alcohol allowed?
It is recommended you bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and your preferred food and refreshments. Yes, alcohol is allowed, cans are preferred (for safety) and drink responsibility. Closed toed shoes are recommended.
Will the restaurant cook the fish we catch?
Yes, after your trip is completed, we can recommend where to have your fresh fish cooked for you.
Do we have to catch live bait before we head out?
A typical day starts with live shrimp. We do try to keep live bait at our dock, but sometimes the baits don’t make it overnight.
How much do we tip the Captain?
20% is customary and may be added to the credit card on file. Tipping the captain the 20% directly is standard and they accept cash, credit card or Venmo typically.
Can we take more than 6 people on our charter?
No, the maximum clients we can take is 6 on our larger boats due to USCG Regulations. We do however have several boats and can take up to 18 people in a group. Pre-booking is needed for this type of outing.
Do you have shade & seating on the boats?
Yes we have shade and seating on all the boats.
Should I tell my captain if I have any health issues?
Yes, the more we know the better we can make sure you have a great trip.
Can I keep the fish I catch during the fishing charter?
Yes, you get to keep what you catch during your fishing trip.
