  UPDATE: Kevin has lied in his response alleging that the entire communication thread was entirely via text and choosing to mislead and exclude our conversations. The fact that he is dug into the false narrative that he is the innocent victim of a bad review is exactly what I would expect given our prior experience. The captain can absolutely make or break a fishing charter experience, which is why I strongly recommend that anyone considering booking this boat have a direct conversation with Kevin before committing thousands of dollars and an entire day on the water. After we booked a nearly $1,600 half-day charter, Kevin contacted us and informed us there would be an additional fuel surcharge beyond the quoted price. During that conversation, he explicitly stated that if we were uncomfortable with the added charge, we could cancel the trip. Based on that discussion, we canceled within approximately 36 hours of booking. This was also for a weekday Wednesday charter — not a peak weekend date booked months in advance — so it is difficult to believe the cancellation created any meaningful hardship or prevented him from rebooking the trip. However, Kevin then reversed course and refused to refund our deposit, offering only a future booking credit instead. He justified keeping the deposit by claiming we did not select the correct cancellation option in the app, despite there being no option that reflected the situation he himself had presented — that we could cancel if we did not agree to the added fuel charge. What was most disappointing was not just the financial dispute, but Kevin’s behavior throughout the interaction. During multiple conversations, he was rude, hostile, aggressive, and unnecessarily inflammatory when we tried to resolve the issue professionally. A fishing charter is supposed to be an enjoyable experience, and the captain’s attitude is a huge part of that. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this charter to carefully evaluate whether this is someone they want to spend an entire day confined on a boat with.

  We were down in St. Pete’s for my son’s baseball spring training and decided to try and do a fishing charter last minute. Was very easy to book over the phone. Payment was very convenient. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Captain C was the best!!! Boat was ready when we arrived and we were immediately underway. He asked what type of fish we were looking for as we only booked a 4hr charter. Great conversation the whole trip!!! Took us right where the fish were!!! We caught all sorts of snappers, mackerel, and grouper. Even tried for some Kingfish. Captain C cleaned our fish for us gave us some great cooking recipes as well. We will definitely use this charter next time we are down here was a fantastic experience!!!

  Captian Christian is the man! I told him when we boarded the boat that my bucket list was to catch a hogfish and boy did he make that happen! Not only did he put us on fish all day, he made the experience memorable by being attentive and making conversations with us all day. I’ve been on many chatters where the captain is inattentive and off to themselves and double time offshore + captain christian makes sure this isn’t the case. It was an unforgettable day on the water and we will definitely be back.

  Booked the 10Hr Off Shore fishing day with Capt Christian and Capt Luke. These Gentlemen were absolutely Phenomenal. The day was better than could have been imagined for all 5 of us. Cristian put us right on top of mega fish at every stop. Lines were running non stop all day. Needed to stop for another cooler after the day was done as we had more fillets and steaks then we could store. Sensational day!! Thankyou and we will be back for sure!
