This was a fun trip for a couple of beginners. If you’re a serious angler, of course this is probably not the trip for you, but we were well taken care of as far as fishing goes on the boat. Everybody was really nice and a lot of fun. We spent the day out at sea, how much better can it get that? They moved us around to find fish and everybody caught a little something. It seemed like so It really was a thrill
My father in law and I went on a fishing trip on July 29th. To be honest, they should’ve canceled the trip due to the rough seas, but the instead went out and we had a terrible time. I’ve been on boats most of my life, and this was the first time I felt sick. We had 12-15 ft waves, we could barely fish due to have to hold on to the side of the boat. Between the two of us, we caught one small fish. There were people all over the boat who were sick, and the boat rocked the entire time. You may think I’m exaggerating, but we were the only boat out there and the beaches had red flags out for dangerously high waves. If I had known how bad it would be, I wouldn’t have gone on the trip. This company seems more focused on making money than safety and fun experiences.

Trip is great for young kids wanting to give them the opportunity to catch a fish. Took grandson out and he caught many fish. Not for the avid fishermen but to see a kid smile it is a Homerun.

Mikey was the best part of the trip. He was always there when you needed him and helped us a lot - baited lines, put the fish in buckets, and cleaned our fish for us. He is the main reason for some stars. The bad: it was about 2+ hours out and we maybe fished for 1.5 hours total. They didnt stay in one spot and kept moving to "find more fish". Then another 2+ hours back in the afternoon. If you get sea sick then I would not recommend this trip. Boat was crowded but they said this is half as money people compared to what they normally get. It was cheap: $100, so it was fine for the price but you get what you pay for.

We've gone out with Captain Tony's Fishing Adventures multiple times, and every trip has been a fantastic experience! The crew is friendly, knowledgeable, and works hard to make sure everyone has a great day on the water—whether you're an experienced fisherman or it's your very first time.
One of my favorite parts of the trip is leaving Fort Myers Beach, where dolphins often swim and race alongside the boat. It's such an amazing sight and makes the experience even more memorable!
The crew provides everything you need, including the fishing gear and bait, and they're always ready to help bait hooks, remove fish, and answer questions. They make fishing easy and enjoyable for everyone, even if you're a little squeamish about handling fish like I am!
On our trips, we've caught plenty of fish and even spotted sea turtles out in the Gulf. Watching the pelicans gather at the dock while the crew cleans everyone's catch is the perfect ending to a fun day on the water.
If you're looking for a family-friendly deep-sea fishing adventure in Fort Myers Beach, I highly recommend Captain Tony's Fishing Adventures. We'll definitely be back for another trip!
