  I've moved a few times, but the company I've always used couldn't accommodate the date I needed. I interviewed a few and chose Vanguard. Well, it was the worst experience I've ever had. The worst part was the truck flipping over on Rt9 after being packed and on the way to the new place. Other than that, the movers didn't speak English (I was told that 1 of the guy had just come from Ecuador 3 days prior). I had printed out labels n taped to each box as to which room or attic or storage that each box should go. obviously, they couldn't read English either, so all that time organizing was wasted and made they difficult for everyone. I spent much time switching boxes from one place to another. It was a terrible experience!!!!

  Love this company! They were all professional and friendly. Showed up on time and finished before the estimated quote. There were no issues they treated each piece of furniture with care.

  I have used Vanguard three separate times and each time they were polite, efficient, reasonably priced, enjoyable to work with, and treated me and my belongings with the utmost respect. They were able to pack up the last minute things that I couldn't/hadn't, started in a different room than originally planned because I was still packing up when they came, and worked around me, my children and my pets to keep things moving while not making me feel rushed. I honestly can't recommend them enough. I will use Vanguard whenever I have to move in the future. They are kind, honest, and really made me feel taken care of. During an extremely stressful process, they made it as easy and convenient as possible. Love them!

  The owner Mr. M was very responsive prior to my move. Afterwards, he went dead and didn't respond to any of emails like he used to and even followed up with a call. Also a couple of my items were broken and missing. and just wanted a simple follow up.
