    They lost $10,000 value of items from my move across country in the US. This included all of my clothes, photo albums, journals, steam deck, childhood stuffed animals, books, makeup, stand-up desk, multiple computer monitors, office supplies, and tv cabinet. Things I have collected for over 25 years. Like the stuffed animal that my dad gave me when I was six. And when I mentioned that some of the items were missing, the people who got my things to my destination said they would make a note and trace the items but that I still had to sign that everything was there. They couldn’t trace the missing items (which were essentially my entire main bedroom, and the majority of my office. How does someone lose half a house?). They gave no compensation because of the signature I gave under the impression that they would follow up on the missing items the mover noted in the document. Not to even mention how chaotic the move was with my customer service contact giving the movers the wrong weight so they had to call in more people and a second truck. The costumer service contact was also almost impossible to get a hold of and only replied if I tagged another employee from the company on the email. So, I lost the majority of the items most important to me, my contact from the company was terrible to work with, and now I’ll avoid this company and tell everyone I know to avoid it at all cost.

    I was doing an upstairs bathroom renovation and the tub and vanity were delivered into the garage. Ace’s crew showed up on time and skillfully brought the two pieces up to the primary bathroom. What these folks do is a work of art. Thank you, Monique and team!

    Customers beware...be sure and have the sales person clearly disclose how Atlas addresses broken, lost and damaged personal items that may occur during the course of a move (stuff happens and the customer absorbs all of the bad outcomes), even if they wrap and pack it. What you will come to learn is Atlas and only Atlas will determine what is repairable and the value of that repair and the same applies if they break an item. If they break an item, even though it is broken, they may determine it is repairable and only compensate you for the value of the repair as they have unilaterally determined. Mind you this occurs even though the customer has paid for insurance...part of all the forms one fills out. Bottom line, once you have paid for the move, the customer has little if any recourse and our experience is that it has resulted in a terrible experience and we would never recommend Atlas/Ace to any future customer evaluating relocation service providers.
