  Ship Smart was very responsive, efficient and pulled off a cross-country (San Francisco to New York City) furniture move for us perfectly. The move required a bit of coordination and the delivery was tricky given it was in Greenwich Village/West Village with very difficult parking and a third-floor walkup but they managed it without a problem and the delivery guys were extraordinarily polite, helpful and also cleaned up/took away all the packing materials. I’m planning on using these same movers for another similar move this summer.

  Highly recommend. I shipped some furniture and a lot of fragile glassware, ceramics, etc., across the country. Exceptional service. The shipment was packed very well. Professional and courteous service. Not one item was damaged.

  We used Ship Smart to send household goods back to Canada. They were very helpful in explaining the process and were able to do the job in a short time line of 1 week after they were hired. Everything went exceptionally well, our home items were picked up and taken to a facility to be wrapped, crated and get ready to ship. Our goods arrived in Canada 3 weeks later as promised. When we were informed by the Canadian freight company we needed to go to Canada Customs to get our furniture released. I just needed to have the paperwork and passport with me. The problem was ship smart did not send me the proper paperwork, this should have been given to me at the very start. That is why I have reduced one star from the rating. The freight company helped me out with the paper work In the end. When the goods arrived at our home everything was wrapped exceptionally well on pallets. They delivered to our driveway and every item was meticulously cared for! Mirrors were put into boxes and strapped down for protection, wood pieces were wrapped so corners were protected, we had no damage to any of our belongings. I highly recommend this company for long haul shipping. Note: if you are shipping over the border make sure each box lists its items and in which box number it is in. If it’s used stuff just give a total per box it doesn’t need to be item specific.

  Movers were in contact within 24 hours to pick up the art piece, was on its way from California to Wisconsin in the next week and arrived when scheduled. I was impressed with the way it was boxed. No chance it would be damaged. Delivery driver took care to remove it from the truck and placed it in my garage where I requested it. Very happy with the whole experience. Thank you to everyone involved.

  I was hesitant to hire Ship Smart to move my household goods to Canada as there were some negative comments online. I spoke to the representative about these comments and he explained this happened when people didn't disclose the proper amount of goods originally. I tried to be very accurate with how much I was intending to ship. In the end, I was refunded the amount my estimate was in excess of the actual weight of my contents. I was so surprised to actually get money returned after the contents had been crated and wrapped at the warehouse. I was very impressed with the contact I had with all the individuals I had any interaction with. My move couldn't have been handled any better. Thank you Ship Smart. Great service.
