For more than 20 years, people have trusted Donation Movers LLC with their moving needs. We are a family-owned, veteran-operated moving company in Arizona. Our owner, Paul Schmitt, is a U.S. Army veteran with 12 years of service and over 5,000 moves completed. He works closely with a small team of family and friends to make sure every job is done right. We are fully licensed and insured, so your belongings are always protected.
We also pick up and donate unwanted items for free to Goodwill, St. Vincent de Paul, The Salvation Army, and The Veterans Association. Whether you are moving across town or across the valley, you can trust our family to move yours.
This is not the first time we've used this company. The first time we just had them move us. The second time we asked them to pack, unpack, and reinstall our TV mounts. Big mistake.
Things were literally thrown into boxes with little care. Bowls and glasses were wrapped, but everything else was just tossed into boxes and marked by the room.
A bottle of perfume was just tossed into a garbage can and spilled everywhere; then it was insinuated it was the resident's fault for "leaving it behind". They were contracted to pack. This was a bottle of perfume recently acquired while overseas, so not easy nor inexpensive to replace.
A 65" TV was hung without the bracket being secured properly and the TV almost fell. We were asked if someone touched the TV. Again, insinuating the homeowner did something wrong. It is an adjustable mount that is able to be moved and repositioned. We had someone else come out and fix it for us. They told us the bracket wasn't on properly.
As we started opening boxes and saw the haphazard manner they were packed, we didn't want to deal with them unpacking. There were 40-50 boxes marked "k" for kitchen. After unloading all but 10 or so, we still hadn't found our silverware. Turns out two full boxes of kitchen items had been left behind. Luckily, we still have possession of the old property and were able to go pack it up ourselves.
If you have everything packed and clearly labeled, they are a good company. Owner is friendly, his workers seemed friendly when not questioned about the perfume, the price is right. If you have to add on any services, look for a different company.

Totally disrespectful. Completely cut me off and ran me off the road. No wave, no acknowledgement- nothing. I almost got hit by oncoming traffic. Nice move driving a company branded vehicle! If this is the type of respect you have for people on the road, this is exactly the type of respect they treat their customers with! HORRIBLE ENTITLED PEOPLE!!!

I highly recommend donation movers! My grandmother used them to move from Mesa to Tempe to be closer to our family and we were thrilled with their work. Paul and his two man team went above and beyond to be sure my grandmother felt safe and secure during the process. Paul even noticed a broken nail in the process and just fixed it for her. Overall they were very professional, fast, and courteous (even when we kept changing our mind where the boxes should go). We will recommend them to anyone who moves. Thank you Donation Movers and thank you Paul & your crew!

The job went smoothly. I contacted Donation Movers via the on-line quote on their website. The got back to me within 2 hours of submitting the quote. The lady who called me back was very nice and answered all my questions. Once I booked their services, I received a confirmation email listing the quote and other information needed for the move. 2 days before the move I received a confirmation phone call. The day of the move I received a call about stating the movers were on their way.
Once the movers got to my apartment, they loaded everything up in about an hour. They made sure that all large pieces and valuables were wrapped to prevent breakages or damage. Once at my new apartment, they unloaded in about 2 hours. ( I was moving from a ground floor apartment to a 3rd floor apartment)
The movers were very nice and professional and had a great sense of humor. I would definitely use them again!
