  Very Disappointing Experience This was my first time hiring professional movers, and unfortunately, it was an extremely disappointing experience. We were originally quoted 4–6 hours, but the move ended up taking approximately 11 hours. During those 11 hours, numerous items and parts of my home were damaged, including: * A buffet table was broken. * A Sonos speaker was damaged. * Brand-new hardwood floors were scratched. * A box of dishes was dropped and broken. * Paintings were damaged. * One of the movers used approximately three rolls of my personal packing tape. * One mover took approximately 15 drinks from my refrigerator. * One of the movers arrived late and, during the move, actually fell asleep in his truck for a period of time. The most frustrating part is what happened afterward. The owner required me to pay the full amount and told me that he would handle the damages through the company’s insurance and/or figure out a resolution. He then told me he was out of state and would get back to me. Since then, he has stopped responding to my messages. I want to make it clear that the two movers themselves have actually been very nice, genuine, and honest throughout this process. They acknowledged what happened and admitted responsibility for the damages. My issue is specifically with the owner’s handling of the situation and the complete lack of communication after receiving full payment. I gave this company the opportunity to make things right and handle the damages professionally. Instead, I am now left with damaged property, damaged floors, and no response from the person who told me he would take care of the situation. At this point, I will be reaching out to 3TV/Arizona’s Family On Your Side, filing a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, and seeking legal counsel regarding the damages and the company’s handling of this matter. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to do your research and understand how they handle damage claims before hiring them. I expected a professional moving company to take responsibility when things went wrong. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

  Had the worst experience! We hired movers to make our move easy instead it turned into something extremely stressful. First things first They were 2 1/2 hours late. I had scheduled them to be here at 8 AM. They didn’t get here till 1030 completely throwing our move off track, Only one of the movers seemed to be helpful the other one not so much he was grabbing one item at a time taking excessive breaks he was also extremely rude!! It got so bad to where my husband had to step in to help the other guy so instead of making the move easy it put a strain on my husband, They will not and I repeat, will not handle your furniture with Care. We have a dresser that’s completely missing a chunk of the wood scraped up two of our Table chairs have chunks missing off them. My daughter‘s bed was completely scraped up. We put mattress covers over our mattresses to avoid them getting dirty in the move. They did not handle with Care by the time they came out of the truck The plastics were completely ripped off. They don’t cover anything with blankets that could be breakable. They had our furniture cushions on the floor outside. Just an awful experience and Made moving more of a hassle, Mind you we didn’t even change apartment complexes. We only changed units and it was a complete nightmare to hire this company!

  10/10 service! Sunset Movers made moving day so much easier. The team was super fast, professional, and took great care of everything. They were friendly, efficient, and finished ahead of schedule. I’ll definitely be referring them to everyone for their next move!

  These guys suck. Where to begin even. They broke my stuff, threw stuff, took 11 hours and didn’t even finish 2b 2b home 1 car garage. That had a car in it mind you. So not too much in there. The “manager” said he was going to pay me for broken item, and never did. Then he called again asked for Cash App and said he would still didn’t. They were offered water, food and popsicles made a HUGE MESS, and left my vacant house at 60 degrees!! They threw my kids stuff In a garbage pile. Then I tried to contact the owner, the “manager” pretended to be the owner and said he would fix it Saturday! The owner got back to me and told me how it wasn’t him, and he wouldn’t help me for free. Then he changed his mind and said he would sent more people. We obviously didn’t agree because they just weren’t a good company. 195 an hour 11 hours later. When the owner talked to his workers telling them they messed up, one guy accused me of “hollering at him” which is the BIGGEST joke. This whole company is a JOKE. Wish 0 stars was an option.
