The City of Hot Springs owns and operates, through the Intracity Transit Dept. (IT), the local public bus and paratransit services.
IT runs three fixed routes, within city limits, between 6:10 a.m. - 8 p.m., Mon. - Fri., and 10:10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sat.. These routes offer various stops along, and nearby, Central, Malvern, Ouachita, and Whittington avenues, and Airport, Albert Pike, and Higdon Ferry roads.
All bus routes begin and end their daily runs at the Transportation Plaza in downtown Hot Springs.
Curb-to-curb Paratransit Service is available to eligible persons with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. This complimentary service is for trips with both the origin and destination within the IT service area.
