  Still not open. I missed my flight because I navigated to the first Mobile airport on the list. This airport is still under construction and it looks like they’re a long way off. When I made it to the Delta counter at the other airport, they said it happens all the time. The Mobile International Airport Authority should mark this as closed on Google maps until it opens.

  The last that work for delta, Tammy was very nice. She was so friendly and on her break she came out to help me. I ask her questions about my favorite perfume that I had in my purse, I had already checked my baggage in. She told me tsa would take it. When she got off her break, she went and got my luggage, which hadn't been sent all the way to the back yest, let me put my perfume in my luggage, so I wouldn't loose it. That meant EVERYTHING TO ME. SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT. She cared. These days you don't find many people that go beyond their regular duties. U dinf hardly find, good customer service anymore. I truly appreciated Tammy. Going through tsa was easy. The young lady at the 1stcheck point was very helpful and very pleasant. I didn't have my star license and she help me with the online payment because I wasn't sent a email immediately showing proof of payment and it was soon time to board the plane. She showed me what to do and I had no issues. Wish I knew her name.

  BEWARE!!! DO NOT GET DIRECTIONS TO THIS AIRPORT if you are flying DELTA, AMERICAN OR UNITED OR YOU WILL MISS YOUR FLIGHT!!! We almost missed our flight because it’s 30 minutes from the REAL Mobile Airport, MOBILE REGIONAL AIRPORT!!! How in the holy heck that the Mobile Airport Authority lets this airport even be in Google Maps is MIND BOGGLING!!! Every 4 or 5 star review here is for Mobile Regional Airport, NOT Mobile International Airport!!!

  I am a resident of Mobile. Is this airport open to all travelers or only for cargo planes? I urge the relevant authorities to clarify to the public whether it is operational or not.
