  This was my first time in Alaska and I had a wonderful time with A-Z Sportfishing Charters! Seth was our captain and he did an awesome job guiding us to the Salmon, Halibut, and Rockfish! Aiza, Brian, Christine and all of the staff were great. Bring your appetite - breakfast and dinners are delicious with large portions! My freezer will be full for a WHILE with fish!

  This was my first time staying and fishing with A-Z charters. Honestly, I didn’t have any expectations since the last few outfitters I’ve used have been complete nightmares! A-Z had a shuttle waiting for us when our flight into Sitka landed. They helped load all of our luggage and drove 10 short minutes to the lodge. Upon arrival, we were treated like VIP guests. Mandy gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms. After that we went and had an amazing “homestyle” cooked meal at the main dining hall. They clearly communicated our fishing schedule and itinerary for the remainder of the trip. Breakfast was at 430 am sharp (amazing spread of food!) then we went fishing right after. I had 4 in my party including myself. We fished for 2 days with Seth as our captain. He did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable on the boat and then we were catching fish. Boy did we do that! Day 1 we caught 1 king, 19 silvers, and 8 rock fish. Day 2 we caught 8 rock fish, 18 silvers, and 4 halibut. From the service to the food to the fishing, I’m so impressed and in awe with this place! We will definitely be planning a return trip for next summer!

  We came up from Utah and had an absolutely great experience from start to finish. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the lodge was very clean and comfortable. The boat captains were awesome! Especially Seth! very knowledgeable, easy to get along with, and knew exactly where to put us on the fish. We caught plenty of fish and had a great time out on the water. Overall, just a great, great experience and definitely a trip we’ll remember forever! Would absolutely recommend A-Z Fishing charter to anyone looking for an overall perfect experience!

  Captain Seth was amazing! Very professional, friendly and did a great job. He was helpful and always on top of everything. Mandy met us at the airport and made herself available to us at all times, for any questions, concerns or comments. She was also very friendly and professional. The biggest complaint I have was that my daughter and I were both bitten by bugs. I saw some bugs in my bed. I got bit on my back and both arms. I also felt that the dog should have been kept out of the kitchen and dining area. We were not made aware that a dog would be in the dining area with us. Otherwise, the fishing was amazing!

  I had an absolutely fantastic three days of fishing with AZ Sportfishing Charter and their lodge! The staff at the lodge was extremely friendly, professional, and organized, making us feel right at home. Captain Bret, a seasoned salty dog in the best possible way and took us on an adventure each day. His expertise and fun spirit kept us engaged, and we landed every single day. From the cozy lodge to the top-tier fishing, the entire experience was one for the books—I can’t wait to come back!
