I was charged almost $2,000 more than the original estimate and was told by one of the operators (Emily) that this was my fault. Thankfully, I spoke with the first empathetic and professional in the company (Ana Mayer). She was very nice and completely understood where I was coming from. She ended up refunding me some of the money that I was overcharged and explained the why behind everything. If it wasn't for Ana, Shipsmart would be getting 1 star from me.

We had no way to transport them and this company was referred to us by a moving company as it was a small load. It is a hard time when a family member is gone and they made it easier on us. Carly especially, was available when I needed help or information. I recommend that you get a list of what you need moved and make it as complete as possible before you ask for an estimate. It was easy to set up, but the website is not easy to navigate to add items. Bottom-line, they charge based on weight. So unless it is an expensive item you want to insure, it won't matter. Hopefully, you are more organized than I was!
