  Recently had Hercules move my mom. The two movers were exactly on time, extremely polite, courteous and helpful. They were very careful with everything and worked very hard. The communication from the office was consistent and helpful throughout the process. After doing an assessment of how long the move might take, they quoted us 3-4 hours including travel time. It ended up being 3 hours that we paid for. Overall great experience.

  I have used this company before, however this time it was a disaster. 4 movers total and I still had to move pictures and mirrors myself (with a bad back). They offered no blanket padding or secure straps etc... to move ALL my items - at least from what the aftermath was - I cannot really tell. They broke a dresser - the top drawer broke into pieces and fell off the dresser. A small bookshelf became dislodged in a section and they did not reassemble it - they moved it in place and left it. A rotating fan was knocked over at the beginning, not sure it will be broken or not yet. I have a bad back; I instructed them to move any boxes marked as Holiday/Christmas/Halloween up to the 2nd floor, they did maybe one but left the rest on 1st floor. I have requested a discount or reimbursement and am waiting on a reply and decision from owner. I will not be using them again and I do not recommend them for moving needs. As a courtesy I still tipped the 4 movers. Now I am waiting to see what will be done if anything, but does not sound likely.

  Had Hercules scheduled for a move, they came in the house, looked around, said I wasn't ready and they would be back in a bit. They were rearranging their fishing poles in the back of the truck before they took off and never returned. I'm a 62 year old woman, if it weren't for friends and family, I wouldnt have made it to my home that weekend. When I called back, no explanation was given, no apology, nothing.

  We had a great experience with Hercules Moving & Storage. Eric and Russell showed up right on time and moved us on one of the hottest days of the year. They were a great team - professional and very careful with our belongings. We had some pretty heavy furniture which they maneuvered down and up stairs, with not a scratch or nick left behind on anything. Their efficiency kept the price very affordable too. Would highly recommend Hercules!
