  Recently hired the guys from Elam and Sons to move away from Cincinnati. This was my second time using their service. These guys are consummate professionals: on time, communicative, courteous, cautious yet efficient. If you’re on the fence about who to use, Elam and Sons has my glowing recommendation.

  Shawn and James have a long history of working together and it shows. Each movement of the team is perfectly choreographed. I wouldn’t trust my grand piano to any other movers. They moved it up to a loft and then down again 3 years later. It was an unbelievably complicated task requiring an extremely heavy lift that they carried up 3 flights of stairs, and then moved a 650 pound piano down those same stairs with extremely tight turns. They and their sons are extremely professional and incredibly hard working. If you have fine pieces and want them handled as if they were their own, these are the movers to hire. They even saw to it that our grandfather clock was running after they moved and re-assembled it. They are a local, family-run business and treat their customers accordingly. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.
