  Daryl and Brian were just awesome. It was a packed pod, they unloaded everything quickly and carefully. They asked what to do with the fragile stuff and where everything should be put so we could unpack it more easily. So helpful and considerate.

  Rob, Julius, and James were wonderful! We had a 16’ pod and a trailer to pack and they handled a horrible game of Tetris with smiles and good spirits. They were all genuinely friendly, kind, and helpful. It is rare to have a moving team be so efficient, professional, and kind. Thank you all!

  I recently hired Jeff and Rob B from their moving company to help with a move, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! They handled a very heavy chair for me with impressive care, strength, and attention to detail—no scratches, no issues, and they made sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. The guys were professional, friendly, on time, and worked efficiently without any rushing or damage. It was a stress-free experience from start to finish, and I really appreciated their positive attitude and hard work.   My experience with Joe’s Moving Co. in Rochester, NY during our recent local move was extremely disappointing and I’m sharing it so others can make a more informed decision when choosing a moving company. Before scheduling my move, I spoke with a company representative who was confident about the company’s track record and customer satisfaction. Based on the conversation, I felt comfortable before booking the service. On moving day, the moving crew arrived about 45 minutes late to our home. The crew leader did not apologize for the late arrival but made sure to inform us that if we leave a 5 star review on Google that we would receive a discount on our bill. The quality of the experience declined from that point. The crew did not appear to work efficiently as a team and did not seem focused on providing a professional moving service. While relocating a new stainless steel refrigerator, the front of the appliance was significantly dented. I was told they did not have the proper equipment to move it and that the damage might not be covered by their insurance. I had previously been told the company was fully licensed and insured. The movers also took several breaks during the job, and some returned from lunch smelling strongly of smoke, which did not feel professional during a paid service. One of the movers was continually dropping our furniture on the ground. During the move, walls in both homes were gouged and ended up with holes, and a hardwood kitchen table that has been in my family for years was scratched badly. It will now need to be refinished. At the end of the move, the break time was included on the final bill. At that point, I paid because I simply wanted the moving process to be finished. While unpacking, we noticed that several boxes we had packed ourselves appeared to have been opened or disturbed. These boxes were clearly labeled “Master Bedroom” and “Fragile.” We realized many personal items could not be located, including a few sentimental pieces. I reported the situation to the authorities, but because the unpacking occurred weeks later, I was told it may be difficult to determine exactly what happened. Since the move, I made several attempts to contact the company regarding the damages and my concerns, but I have not received a response to my calls or emails. I later tried to follow up and was told they did not have a record of my move. Based on what occurred during my move, I cannot recommend Joe’s Moving Company.

  I recently used this moving company and overall had a great experience. The team arrived on time, were professional, and handled my belongings with care. Moving can be stressful, but they made the process feel smooth and organized from start to finish. worked efficiently without rushing, and I appreciated how respectful they were of my items—especially the more fragile pieces. Everything arrived safely with no damage, which was a huge relief. They also had a great attitude the entire time, which made the day a lot easier. The pricing was fair for the level of service provided, and there were no unexpected surprises.
