  A special shout-out to Nate, Keegan, Drew, Kenny W, and Jaden for moving me during one of the last winter storms with below freezing temps and steady rain and sleet all day long. No one complained or even hinted at any type of exhaustion, unhappiness, or discomfort. It was refreshing to work with respectful guys who made sure nothing was damaged. I will use Dogwood Moving for future moves! Highly recommend!!!

  Two young guys (1 being a student) did our move. We were not completely satisfied with the move. I called to report it to Wes, left a voicemail and have yet to hear from him. Customer satisfaction is NOT important to them. - They forgot to pack all our kitchen knives - They forgot one leg stand of the king bed - As soon as they came in a speaker with Western music was played. - One of the movers was making fun of our items he was packing. He thought we didn’t notice but we did. That was unprofessional. - I’ve never seen movers working this slow and I’ve used many companies in my life. - They were friendly so no complaints about that part. Every other moving company would have taken one hour to load the few items we had. It took them 2 whole hours.

  I cannot say enough good things about this moving service. From start to finish, they made what could have been an overwhelming and emotional process feel organized, manageable, and even hopeful. I was in the middle of resetting my life — emptying out my storage unit and coordinating a stop at a house where some of my belongings were temporarily stored — and they handled every step with care and efficiency. As a single mother, moving comes with an extra layer of pressure and stress. Kalvin, Stephen, and Aidan truly lifted that weight off my shoulders. They were punctual, professional, and extremely respectful of my belongings. They worked hard, stayed positive, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. Not only were they efficient, but they were also kind and friendly, which made such a difference during a big life transition. Their teamwork was seamless, and they treated my items as if they were their own. I felt supported, not rushed, and genuinely cared for as a customer. I am beyond grateful for their help and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers who go above and beyond.

  We had a fantastic experience with Dogwood Moving Company from start to finish. The team packed and loaded the truck, and they were professional, efficient, and incredibly careful with our belongings. They arrived on time, worked quickly without ever seeming rushed, and handled everything — from fragile items to large furniture — with great attention and care. Their packing was organized and secure, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing everything would arrive safely. What really stood out was their positive attitude and teamwork. They were courteous, respectful of our home, and happy to answer any questions along the way. Moving can be stressful, but they made the entire process smooth and manageable. Our loading team, Hepka, Naim, and Martinez were absolutely amazing, even in the rain! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality movers. Worth every penny!

  I had accidentally wrote this review for their Raleigh location. I Meant for Wilmington. I'm giving three stars as nothing was broken to my knowledge. We just moved last weekend. But our brand new bookshelves had a lot of scratches on the bottom. These guys are young and I think a few are more experienced than the others. They had one floor protector to roll out. My husband had to ask them to put it down! I was at our apartment still and was not aware. Our new house has a long hallway. They should have had two. When I asked if they had another floor protector I was told no with a bit of a tude by one of them. They were nice and polite for the most part. Decent experience.
