The movers didn’t have the proper tools to remove furniture so they went to Lowe’s 6 minutes from my home to get tools (mind you with most of my things in the truck) they came back an hour later and said they broke down at the light upon leaving. Didn’t receive any communication about the situation. Just remained calm and patient the entire time even with my things gone. I honestly just wanted this whole process to be over. No fault of the 2 movers who I’m grateful for moving my things at the end of the day. The owner Steve clearly didn’t set them up for success. With all the downtime they had, Steve was trying to charge me for all the time accrued. I told him that wasn’t right to charge me for them gone an hour. He got real hasty with me and finally took the hour off. Was going to charge me 5.5 hours and changed it to 4.5 hours after I dealt with him having an attitude and being rude. SMH. I’ve unpacked majority of my things and my simple human trash can seemed to be the only item that got damaged during the move. Did I complain? No because it’s just material stuff that can be replaced. My peace of mind is worth more than dealing with Steve again. Use yall discernment and choose a more top tier company. Pay the extra price for professionalism and integrity. Thank you Travis and I forget the other guys name but thank you for getting it done. I’m so appreciative to you both. Happy holidays!
