We did not have a great experience with this company. Initially, they were responsive and communicative through email which was great. The Friday prior to our Monday move they called to see if it would be possible to change our initial 8 o’clock time to a 10 to 11 window due to a scheduling error on their part. We agreed, and they noted they would provide an extra employee to assist in making the move quicker to accommodate.
On the day of the move the team did not show up between 10 and 11 o’clock window. 1130am rolled around and when we called to check in, we were told they were still working on another move. There was a little apology from the worker who answered the phone and sounded like he was literally in the midst of moving. After speaking with front desk staff, we were told the team should be arriving within 30 minutes. They did not arrive until about 1230- so an hour and a half after the closing of the window that had already been shifted because of their mistake.
The team stayed for about 45 minutes. They provided three workers initially but one left after about 10 minutes of work. The team picked up items from the U-Haul on commercial Drive and drove about three minutes down the road to our apartment complex. We were charged $200 for a travel and fuel charges. On top of that, the company left a rug at our place that was used to pop up the door. When we called to let them know, they forgot the item. They asked if we could hold it for the next couple days- which was unacceptable. In total we were charged about $645 for their services. When we called discuss a potential reduction in these fees given the amount of difficulty and the minimal work the team actually did, and the very short travel time which seemed inconsistent with the cost, they offered us $50.00 off the total price.
Definitely wish I would’ve gone with a different company.
While they seemed organized upfront, the execution of the move was poor and customer service thereafter was also.

We had a bad experience with Ace Moving. We had a 3 man crew, but we were lucky if 2 of them were actually working at once. For example- one guy spent 20 minutes in his truck on the phone, they spent 20 minutes adjusting a plastic picnic table after we told them to put it the garage, I watched a guy literally carry one umbrella into the house and nothing else. They dropped our child's dresser and broke three of the drawers. We were told the "quality of the furniture was lacking and these things happen". They dropped it hard enough that pieces of it snapped. One guy spent a half an hour trying to put it together even after we told him we would deal with it later (we specifically told them we wanted to get things inside due to the cold). It was so bad we asked them to leave after the 2 hour minimum. Would not recommend them to anyone. Slow, unprofessional, and unresponsive to our concerns.
