  The Alexander's team we worked with were great from the planning stage to the actual move. They made the transition a lot less stressful than it could have been and were able to work with us over a few hiccups we ran into outside of the moving process. The team itself was amazing! Worked quickly, efficiently and weren't afraid to ask about things they were unsure of. Would absolutely use them again and highly recommend!

  We had an awful experience with Alexander’s. We have held off on writing this severe of a negative review hoping that we would have received better communication. We should have known that the experience was going to be bad when the loading crew showed up with the wrong truck and incorrect packing materials list. They packed our goods shoddily and broke several items totaling over $3000 in replacement value. The morning of unloading, they called ahead of the schedule confirmed to us by more than 2 representatives of their company. When we asked for them to wait until the scheduled time, we arrived to find much of our belongings being unloaded onto our driveway in the rain. Through unpacking, we have found garage boxes in the house and kitchen boxes in the garage, all were clearly labeled. At one point, my wife had to stop them from carrying in metal shelving unit fully assembled into our beautiful custom home. They just decided that they didn’t want to do the work of breaking it down so they could safely bring it in without scratching anything. Of the 4 beds we had them reassemble, only one was done properly and one was so damaged one of their workers had to go out for hardware to repair it. It was over a week before they had come out to finish assembling the bed with the replacement parts. By the time they provided us with the claims forms, we only had a few days to get it done before their 30 day deadline came up. It took another 2-3 weeks for someone to come out and assess the damage they caused. We are on week 3 waiting for their payment. We’re approaching 9 weeks and still have not seen any reimbursement or communication. On the day of the move, the district manager blamed the poor quality on COVID. He offered my wife gift cards to buy the kids toys, as if a toy would repair the damage they caused and the work they added to our lives when they were payed to reduce it. We have asked them for the post move survey which they haven’t provided, knowing that it was going to be critical. It’s a handy way to keep your record positive if you pick and choose who fills out a survey. I would not recommend their service if it was offered for free. It was a horrible experience during one of the most stressful events in anyone’s life, moving to a new home.
