SERIOUS WARNING – PLEASE READ BEFORE USING A&B TWIN MOVERS INC.
I do not usually write reviews like this, but what I experienced with A&B Twin Movers Inc. was beyond unacceptable, emotionally draining, financially stressful, and completely disrespectful. I feel morally obligated to share this so no one else has to go through what I did.
Before hiring this company, I was VERY clear and honest about what needed to be moved. I explained that I had three large furniture pieces and a very large amount of small boxes. I even voiced my concern that two movers would not be enough. I was reassured multiple times that two movers would be fine, that their workers were “fast,” and that my move would take approximately three hours. I trusted their professional judgment — and that was my first mistake.
From the moment the movers arrived late, things immediately felt wrong. They moved slowly, carelessly, and with absolutely no respect for my belongings. Watching them handle my furniture was honestly heartbreaking. My bed was broken, and instead of being honest and professional, they attempted to hide the damage by using a Sharpie marker to cover it up. That level of dishonesty alone was shocking.
It did not stop there.
They broke my island table.
They broke my lamp.
They scratched multiple personal items that I worked hard to afford and care for.
They even brought trash that I SPECIFICALLY told them not to move, completely ignoring my instructions.
The situation became even more disturbing when the movers disappeared for about 20–30 minutes with no communication at all. When I arrived at my new apartment — during what should have been an exciting and fresh start in my new home — they were nowhere to be found. I had to call and track them down myself while already overwhelmed and stressed from the move.
Then came the financial shock.
I was originally quoted $546. Somehow, without proper explanation, transparency, or justification, I was charged approximately $400 MORE. This felt extremely deceptive and predatory, especially after the level of service and damage that occurred.
When I tried to speak with the company to resolve this professionally, I was treated with disrespect, dismissal, and a complete lack of accountability. That was the moment I realized this was not just poor service — this was a serious business practice issue.
This experience turned what should have been a positive life transition into one of the most stressful and upsetting moving experiences I have ever had. No customer deserves to feel taken advantage of, ignored, or disrespected this way.
I am currently documenting all damages, charges, and communications. I am fully prepared to pursue legal action, file formal complaints with consumer protection agencies, and take this matter to court if necessary. I take honesty, fairness, and consumer rights very seriously.
Please, if you are considering using this company, protect yourself. Ask questions. Get everything in writing. Take photos. Read reviews carefully. I would never want someone else to experience the stress, disappointment, and financial burden that I am dealing with right now.
Consumers deserve professionalism, honesty, and respect. Sadly, I experienced none of those things with A&B Twin Movers Inc.
