  As a wedding planner, we love working with Cape Destinations. They provide exceptional communication and day-of transport services, their drivers are always so friendly and I especially love that you can track your vehicles location with ease. Smooth transportation is essential for a great first and last impression on the day of your event. They're a must-hire!!

  We used Cape Destinations for our wedding transportation, and while they ultimately got everyone where they needed to be—which was the most important part—there were a few issues that made the experience less smooth than I had hoped. Several guests shared that the bus was hard to find earlier in the day because it pulled around the side of the venue instead of stopping out front as expected. At our second pickup location, one of my family members actually had to get off the bus and run into the hotel lobby to direct guests to the correct spot. My biggest frustration, though, was how difficult it was to get timely responses. Email replies often took weeks, even for simple questions, and I had to send multiple nudges just to get answers. When I called with a time-sensitive question, the staff member I spoke to (Karen) was surprisingly dismissive and seemed irritated by my call, which was stressful as a bride planning everything on my own. On a positive note, the bus drivers themselves were professional and knew exactly where they were going. In the end, the transportation worked out, but better communication and customer service would have made a big difference.

  We decided to go with Cape Destinations as the transportation provider for our wedding day shuttles in Falmouth. We rented two school buses to transport guests from two hotels to the ceremony location, then the reception location, as well as a trolley to drive the bride, groom, family and wedding party from the family house to the photos location to the ceremony to the reception. We chose Cape Destination because it had a wide variety of vehicles in its fleet and was relatively affordable, plus we wanted something fun like a trolley. Unfortunately, I can only give Cape Destinations three stars due to poor communication. They caused us a huge headache by failing to respond to emails and phone calls from both us and our wedding coordinators for nearly a week just a few days before our wedding, when we needed to add the second school bus. Cape Destinations also had a strange limit of only dropping guests off at three locations after the wedding (we had 6+ guests at six different hotels), despite these hotels all being within 2 miles. On the day of the wedding, however, everything ran very smoothly, as the drivers were prompt, friendly, and flexible to our custom routing. Cape Destinations is a solid choice due to its competitive pricing and variety of vehicles but can be hit or miss on the communications.

  We rented the trolley for our wedding day and cannot recommend it enough. Our entire wedding party had a blast on the trolley and it made it so easy to move everyone from point A to point B, plus the photos with it were a fun addition. Our driver overcame very challenging roadwork on our wedding day to ensure everything ran smoothly and we stayed on time. The communication with the office staff during booking was a bit confusing and challenging, but the driver on the day of really made up for it.

  I would not recommend Cape Destinations for your wedding. Unfortunately, the experience leading up to the day was frustrating. Communication was poor throughout the entire process with me constantly having to bump my emails to get replies. I also had to consistently follow up just to get billed correctly for the second bus. It took nearly two months, which caused our payments to be condensed at the end. On top of that, I was supposed to receive receipts along the way and a finalized itinerary request 30 days before the wedding, but those details didn’t come through until just five days before. It made the whole process unnecessarily stressful at an already hectic time. The only saving grace was that the buses did show up on time and everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. For that, I’m grateful. However, based on the overall lack of organization and communication, I wouldn’t recommend this company for future events.
