  We had such a good time last year with Payton and crew. We booked another one this year. Payton is the of best of the best! His knowledge and experience has us coming back. They provide lunches too. Good food and great portions. Can't beat being out on the water, putting your line in, enjoying the mountains views, with wonderful people taking you out to their back yards and feeling like family.

  Another amazing trip. 3 days, many fish caught, a few fish kept, great stories told, even better memories made. Thank you Jess and Brenda for all the work you both do to make every trip such a pleasure. We look forward to future trips to Ram House and hopefully the Snake for cast and blast this fall.

  S&S River Outfitters in Riggins is an incredible shop run by genuinely kind people. From the start, they stayed in close communication with us about our upcoming fishing trip, keeping us informed about the Salmon River being frozen over and the possible need to move to Hells Canyon. You could tell right away how much they care about their customers and their experience. We stopped into the shop on Friday evening before closing, and it was fantastic. The shop itself is so nice, and I was thrilled to find a women’s sweater that actually went up to a 3XL — such a win! My husband was beyond excited and picked up a steelhead pole, even though the boat provides all the gear. He just couldn’t wait to get a line in the water the moment we arrived. Later that evening, God had other plans. We ended up going by ambulance from Riggins to McCall, and my family had to call S&S River Outfitters on our behalf to let them know we were in the hospital and couldn’t make our trip the next day. Even though they didn’t have all the booking details, they were incredibly understanding and went above and beyond by refunding our trip — something they absolutely did not have to do. We are so grateful for their kindness and integrity and will absolutely be back to thank everyone in person. Maybe we’re just meant to go when it’s a little warmer. Thank you, and God bless.

  Took a jet boat fishing trip up the Salmon River in early November this year. I have been fishing this river for the past 4 years, my first with S &S Outfitters. It was by far the best experience ever. Our guide, Brian, was fantastic, organized and funny. We cannot wait for our trip next year.

  Went on a 3 day 2 night trip called a cast and blast. The trip and guide service food at camp and the jet boat were absolutely second to none. This fishing and hunting trip was the most fun I have had in a long time. The camp cook prepared our breakfast and diners at camp and was far better than going out to eat anywhere. If there was an option for 10 stars these guys absolutely nailed it I will definitely be booking another trip in the future and if possible every year moving forward. We had Captain Peyton, and deck mate Aiden for a crew on the jet boat and they gave a little bit of history in Hells Canyon.
