Getting around Walt Disney World Resort is a breeze on the world-famous monorail, the "public transport of the future."
Transportation & Ticket Center stop
I loved riding the monorail as a child. It was such a vibe! I always remember it being clean, cool and smooth. Our family recently went to the Magic kingdom and Epcot (spring 2025) and rode the monorail to both parks. I have to say my experience this time was completely the opposite. Our entire family found the monorail to be musky and smelly, dirty and jerky. We are from Atlanta and our son’s caregiver actually mentioned that she did not see any difference between riding the monorail and Marta, except the fact that you can see the Epcot ball in the distance. I feel like the monorail needs a complete makeover. We bought our son a $20 balloon during the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. With those prices, I feel certain they have the funds to help the poor monorail.

About as good as it can be. Runs surprisingly well. On hot days, the staff point the giant fans away from guests and at themselves.

Not my favorite way to be transported. I find it a little scary honestly but it does give a unique view of the park
