  Getaway Charters was fantastic. Took the family for spring break. Captain Josh and Corey did an awesome job finding and keeping us in fish despite the cold water temps and whiteout fog that started the morning.

  My family and I went on a 5hr deep sea fishing trip over Thanksgiving. Captain Josh and deckhand Cory were very nice and informative. The fishing was a bit slow but we caught 5 good size amberjack, a king mackerel, and a few other smaller bottom fish. The reason I gave it a three star is because there were two good size fish that the deckhand hooked and reeled in himself while the rest of us watched. The captain even came down and took a picture of him with the fish. It was kind of an awkward moment. For the money we spent, I would have liked to see my son or one of my two nephews get that opportunity. We are frequently down there and will look for other boats to go out on next time.

  This wasn’t my first deep-sea fishing adventure, but it was certainly the largest catch I’ve ever experienced. 73.1 lbs Wahoo. I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Captain Josh and his deckhand, Corey, for their exceptional service and guidance throughout the trip. What more could anyone ask for beautiful weather, incredible fishing, and a truly outstanding Captain with Getaway Charters. Captain Josh not only demonstrated remarkable professionalism, but he also shared what many would consider his finest fishing spots. To Getaway Charters, we truly appreciate you. This experience made our holiday season unforgettable.
