  I had an excellent experience with Debra during my divorce proceedings. She was able to obtain an outcome that more than exceeded my expectations. Being my second divorce, I’ve come to dread the proceedings and told her as much.   I am beyond grateful for Larry and Debra Chafin and everything they did for me and my family. My case involved a guardianship that had been put in place in 2021, when my son’s aunt was granted temporary guardianship due to my struggles with substance use. After becoming 3½ years clean, I was ready to take the necessary steps to turn my life around fully, terminate the guardianship, and regain custody of my son.   I hired her in 2024 after my ex husband was given 60/40 by family court. This was a case of previous emotional/mental abuse on the daily and instability and inconsistency for my child. Along with alcohol and severe mental health allegations against the father who was previously on supervised visitations. After hiring Debra and appointed a Guardian At Litem. Debra worked well with the GAL, she was VERY thorough in guiding me on what evidence to gather. I submitted all my paperwork’s and evidence and she was able to secure the best possible outcome for my children! We were also granted to move out of state to pursue medical resources, better stability, job security, and overall better quality of life for my children. Her pricing is very reasonable, I wasn’t Nickle and dimed! I was able to afford her entire services making less than 25k a year ! I would recommend her and her team to anyone! In our parenting plan I was even able to request “safe guards” to protect my children and I have sole decision making. If you’re looking for a pit bull in the court room …. This is the lawyer for you! She’s good and compassionate and see right through an unstable parent! Good luck on your endeavors.
