I was asked to "PLEASE PREPARE FOR YOUR CONSULTATION AHEAD OF TIME BY EMAILING ANY DOCUMENTS YOU WOULD LIKE REVIEWED" and sent all of my documents in advance, as requested by their paralegal. It was then confirmed they were received. Unfortunately, the attorney had not reviewed anything before our call. He said the office is dealing with some "technical issues" and was later able to access the files after I had emailed them to him during our consult. I was then told he generally does not prepare for consultations. As a result, much of the time I paid for was spent while he skimmed the materials, and the conversation stayed very general instead of addressing my specific case since he didn't have adequate time to review my case. This caught me off guard as many of my questions and concerns were specific to my case details. The meeting ended well short of the “up to one hour” consultation advertised on their website. When I politely requested a refund due to the lack of preparation and shortened meeting, the firm declined. I’m deeply disappointed by the unprofessional handling and will no longer be referring clients to this firm as I have in the past.

I called before my appointment to confirm it was a free consultation, and “Susie” confirmed that it was free. I went ahead with my appointment and when I left they told me that the consultation would be $150! When we explained what happened they claimed there was a Susie that works there but she wasn’t working today so they have no idea where we got that misleading information. We called the same number again and the call went through to the office. So we for sure called the right number the first time. In all, consultations are NOT free.
