DECLINED REPRESENTATION WITHOUT REASON OR REFERRAL
I reached out to this firm regarding a serious legal matter, only to be rejected without a single word of explanation. Despite their marketing as a firm that fights for the people, they flatly refused to provide any reason for their decision. When I asked for a recommendation or next steps, I was simply told to go "google it." They offered zero professional courtesy and no referral to another attorney or legal aid. Leaving a homeless individual with PTSD in the dark during a financial crisis is neither professional nor humane.
DISORGANIZED INTAKE AND INTERNAL HANDOFFS
The intake process was a disorganized waste of time. I was repeatedly called from a California number by an office that failed to identify itself. I was shuffled between various assistants and placed on hold multiple times, only to be transferred to a legal assistant who provided no answers. It felt like a factory line where nobody was actually listening to the facts of a case involving stolen state-mandated disability benefits.
COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES IGNORED
I explicitly requested that all correspondence be handled via email to maintain a written record. Instead, this firm completely ignored my boundaries and called me incessantly, day after day. All of the back-and-forth and the final rejection should have been handled via a single email. For a firm of this size, the failure to follow simple communication instructions is unacceptable.
CASE SUMMARY: WITHHOLDING OF ABD BENEFITS
Issue: Theft/Withholding of DSHS Aged, Blind, and Disabled (ABD) Financial Assistance.
Amount: $200 of $450 (44%) withheld since December 1st, 2026.
Location: Wenatchee, WA (Card purchased at Walmart).
Context: Currently homeless with PTSD, awaiting SSA ALJ Hearing outcome.

The team can be really hard to get a hold of. I feel I’ve done most of the heavy lifting. After leaving a review that wasn’t so favorable, I got better service. The case isn’t over yet and if I am actually feeling prepared before my hearing because of the work MORGAN AND MORGAN put into this, I’ll be more than happy to change this again!
