  Ms. Fortier helped me enormously with my father's estate many years ago, so she was the first attorney I thought of when a friend needed help with her mother's affairs. While the legal legwork was most ably and efficiently handled, what distinguished her -- and why I was so proud to have recommended her -- was her client service. My friend herself was an elderly lady, and one unfamiliar with -- and a bit intimidated by -- the legal process. Additionally, (as is probably too often the case in estate matters), there were familial pressures and conflicts that created even more confusion and upset. Karen was patient, kind, and reassuring, but -- make no mistake -- a rock-solid advocate for my friend. I had the utmost confidence that the resolution she crafted would be binding and problem-free, and it was. I am extremely grateful to her both personally and on behalf of my friend.

  Attorney Karen Fortier is so great!!! She listens and cares about what you are saying and provides solid guidance . My son and I both have Karen as our attorney and I encourage others to set up a appointment. You will not be disappointed.

  AVOID AT ALL POSSIBLE COSTS!! If I could give negative stars, I would. I was given bad advice from Karen and have probably lost tens of thousands of dollars. I will hire another attorney and hopefully get back what I lost but unfortunately it will probably involve litigation. Karen gives the perception of caring but will drop you if she can't generate enough income from you. I will gladly discuss off-line the shoddy service I have received.
