  Ed Shea and his team are outstanding. Five stars. I hired Ed to help with a fairly high conflict divorce and parenting plan agreement. I could not be more satisfied with the outcome that was achieved through settlement. There were a lot of aspects I was impressed by: Ed and his team were very responsive, detail oriented, and always prepared throughout the entire ordeal. Professional. I felt like Ed really understood what was important to me (fair settlement both parties can live with) and helped me understand what a realistic compromise looks like based upon his experience. He provided excellent guidance on drafting declarations and the paperwork was always filed in the courts on time. Although expensive, his billing practices are transparent. I never felt as if I was being over-billed or taken advantage of. He has excellent judgement. I would absolutely hire him again and I would eagerly recommend him to my family and friends if they require legal assistance with family law matters.

  Exceptional Attorney and Team – Truly the Best in Benton County. I had the privilege of working with Ed and his team over the last 2 years, and I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, dedication, and integrity. From the very beginning, Ed provided exceptional representation and demonstrated a clear commitment to achieving the best possible outcome in my case. What I appreciated most was Ed’s honesty and straightforward approach. Before each hearing or court appearance, he took the time to explain every possible outcome, ensuring I understood exactly what to expect. He isn’t the type of attorney who tells you what you want to hear, he tells you the truth, prepares you for all scenarios, and guides you with confidence and care. He makes you aware of risks you take going to court and always keeps you mindful of the what ifs. Ed is also very well respected in the courts and it shows. He doesn’t get pushed around, knows the RCWs inside and out, and presents with confidence and precision. When it’s his turn to speak, his arguments are strong, well-prepared, and persuasive. You can tell he truly cares about his clients and fights for what’s right. Especially when it comes to achieving what’s best for your children. His assistant, Amanda, was equally incredible. She was attentive, responsive, and always kept me informed. If Ed was in trial or mediation, she made sure I knew the reason for any delay and that my concerns were still being addressed. Their communication and teamwork made an otherwise stressful process so much easier to navigate. There were several times I reached out with questions on weekends or after hours and still received timely responses, which speaks volumes about their dedication. I can’t say enough good things about this firm. They are truly an excellent team, and I would recommend them to anyone in Benton County needing knowledgeable, honest, and effective legal representation. Worth every single penny you will spend.

  Ed Shea is the best in the area, hands down. I have had several local attorneys throughout the years and through my divorce process, and there was no comparison. Getting the right attorney is EVERYTHING in a legal battle. Ed and his team are literally exactly what you pray for when you know that you need legal representation. I was SO IMPRESSED with them. They are extremely responsive, which is HUGE, and they don't waste time on misleading you or giving you false expectations. You can tell immediately that Ed has a massive amount of experience. They took on an extremely difficult family case for me, and I was able to get full custody as a result. As a Father, this is unheard of in my experience. I'm so grateful for this team. You will not be disappointed

  Divorce is not one of the best experiences. Ed Shea and his team made my divorce experience less painful. There response time to my questions and concerns were very prompt. Beth Washburn was very kind and sympathetic to my concerns. I would recommend Ed and his team to anyone looking to do this painful process.
