  Mitchell and Suzanne saved my life- no exaggeration. My claim was a little weird, I think. LNI determined my occupational disease claim was allowable. Then my employer ghosted me, leaving me both in pain and unemployed. My ex-employer’s attorney then appealed to LNI. LNI upheld their original decision. Then I got a letter from the BIIA. After the first nightmare "mediation" session, I realized that I needed an attorney. (I should have gotten one as soon as I got that letter.) I was scared, overwhelmed, stressed about money, deeply depressed, anxious, in pain… Presumably anybody reading reviews for a workers comp attorney can relate to this uniquely wretched experience. I got a list of local workers comp attorneys and did my homework. Based on google reviews, I settled on Wayerski & Zmolek. I am so glad I did. Mitchell was compassionate, friendly, and super knowledgeable. He listened to me and let me ask my billion stupid, neurotic questions- as did Suzanne. Communication was clear and quick: every time I emailed or spoke with them, I felt comforted and confident. Amelia at the front desk was always helpful and friendly, too. My case wasn’t a big fancy expensive one- in fact, I’m pretty sure they *lost* money on me (sorry guys- if I ever win the lottery, I’ll do something nice for y’all lol). But they still fought for me. Whenever I was at my lowest, I knew that a capable and kind team was behind me. My trust was well-placed: they got my ex-employer's appeals dismissed. I am forever grateful to Mitchell and Suzanne for their kindness, patience, and professionalism. You guys are amazing, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I feel like I can finally focus on healing and moving forward with my life. To anybody reading this, trying to pick an attorney- these guys!!! Right here!

  Kip breathes fresh air into what at times seems to be a very dark legal system. After a serious injury at work, he was strongly recommended to me by several doctors. When it became apparent that my employer was working against me rather than supporting their injured worker, Kip joined my team and guided me through the long and arduous process of getting spinal surgery approved, then the even longer process of receiving the appropriate disability payment. He and his entire staff are wonderful: accessible and easy to talk to, friendly, supportive, sympathetic and encouraging, giving me a wonderful sense that someone was willing to fight for me when my life had been changed and I felt utterly abandoned by my long-term employer. I have coworkers who have worked with both Kip and Mitchell, and everyone agrees with me that this firm, though you hope to never need such services, is there to genuinely help you. They're extremely good at what they do, and managed to turn what was really a terrible experience into the most positive one possible. I am forever grateful to Kip and his team; thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  Mitchell was the best, from start to finish he was helpful and transparent. Throughout this lengthy process he kept me updated and was asking me questions which was awesome! And he’s a very down to earth guy which is comforting in stressful situations.

  Mitchell and Sabrina were both an absolute joy to work with! After sustaining an injury in a car crash, they handled my injury claim flawlessly! Mitchell made the whole injury claim process a breeze and a lot less stressful. Especially since I was pregnant while going through this whole process. Sabrina was so great at answering questions and keeping me updated when ever I had questions or follow ups! Mitchell really cared, and handled everything with out me having to do much at all! Highly recommended and I will go back to them in a heart beat if I ever need their services again. Thank you!
