  Mr. Moghul and Mrs Zhang provided exceptional guidance during the partner buyout; drafted an excellent exit agreement; and offered strong counterpoints, clarifications, and explanations during the negotiation phase. I appreciate the team's expertise not only in legal matters but also in conducting negotiations. I will not hesitate to retain them in the future.

  After a very difficult nine-month legal ordeal, we are incredibly grateful to the team at Fox and Moghul for standing by our family. Because our case involved serious Virginia real estate litigation it was extremely important to us to have attorneys who specifically understood real estate law, real estate disclosures, inspections, contracts, and fraud, not just general litigation. From the beginning, we felt that this firm brought that level of experience and preparation to our case.There were several individuals in particular who truly stood out to us.Sarah Marquis was compassionate, responsive, and consistently there to guide us through an overwhelming process. She was always available and went above and beyond. Ms. Little was very kind and helpful on the financial and administrative side, always taking the time to provide information, and help us navigate the practical realities of lengthy litigation. As the case moved toward trial, Sarah Marquis and G. Brent Mickum worked together seamlessly in preparing and presenting our  case. Their preparation, professionalism, courtroom advocacy, and deep understanding of complex real estate litigation meant more to us than we can express. Throughout the process, they kept us calm, informed, and reassured during an incredibly high-stress experience.  In the end, they were successful in getting the case dismissed. Quality legal representation during serious litigation is not inexpensive, but when your family and peace of mind are on the line, experience and preparation matter. We never wanted the cheapest attorneys — we wanted the right attorneys — and we genuinely felt this firm fought hard for us every step of the way. I would also say this: clients have responsibilities too. Be honest with your lawyers, communicate with them, trust the process, and respect the amount of work that goes into serious litigation. Our experience with this firm was that they worked tirelessly on our behalf throughout an incredibly difficult situation.   I would strongly advise against using this office based on my experience. I paid $350 for an initial consultation after submitting all the required documents and evidence for my case. During a phone conversation, Mr. Moghul stated that I had a valid case and instructed his assistant to proceed, quoting a fee of $5,150 to begin. After this, I waited nearly three weeks, repeatedly following up for updates. Eventually, I was informed that, after further review, there was nothing that could be done in my situation. Despite this, I was charged nearly $2,000 in total without any meaningful outcome. The lack of transparency, inconsistent communication, and the significant fees charged without results were extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not use their services again and cannot recommend them to others.

  Fox & Moghul helped me resolve a utility company easement request. I’d initially tried to handle it on my own but eventually realized I was in way over my head. From the initial consultation with Terry Fox, I felt comfortable their firm was the right choice. Terry provided explanations in layman’s terms, answered the list of questions I’d prepared, and was very clear what he could help with and how. We had a couple meetings by phone and everything else was communicated via email and I was regularly updated. I was promptly notified when there was a conflict and quickly rescheduled. It never felt like my job was too small or that I was being rushed during meetings. All items were completed within the timeframe Terry specified and billing was transparent. Terry ultimately achieved the outcome I wanted but I would wholeheartedly recommend Fox & Moghul regardless for their integrity, knowledge, and consistent communication.
