  Was very nervous going in to settle the case, agreed to take a plea but when we got there Mr. Del Cueto spotted something most wouldn’t. Ended up getting my case completely dismissed and I could not be happier with the results !

  This firm has represented me twice over the past several years. The first matter was serious, but relatively minor compared with the second. The second matter was extremely serious and carried consequences that could have changed my life. What struck me most was that they treated both matters with exactly the same level of dedication, attention, and determination. They left absolutely no stone unturned in defending me. They thoroughly investigated the evidence, reviewed three and a half years of text messages, watched hours of recorded footage, and personally spoke with more than a dozen people who had information relevant to my case. They challenged the State to meet its burden and made sure that every piece of evidence was examined carefully. Throughout both cases, they communicated with me consistently. They answered every question I had, explained things in terms I could actually understand, and went far beyond what I expected to help me manage the anxiety that naturally comes with going through something like this. They were also willing to work with me on payment arrangements, which meant a tremendous amount during an already difficult time. One thing that genuinely amazed me was how personally they treated me. Somehow, they remembered me every time I walked into their office—whether I had an appointment or simply stopped by unexpectedly. When I began sending them an overwhelming amount of information—screenshots, names, contact information, and potential evidence—they didn’t just tolerate the flood of information. They created a secure cloud drive for me to upload everything, and then organized it more effectively than I ever could have. They were kind, professional, and respectful throughout every interaction. But they were also honest with me. If something I believed or something in my version of events didn’t line up with the evidence, they told me. That’s their job, and they did it in a way that made me grateful to hear the truth rather than simply telling me what I wanted to hear. They are truly remarkable attorneys. At the conclusion of everything, I have a clean criminal record and my freedom. I am incredibly grateful for the work they put into my defense and for the way they stood beside me throughout an extraordinarily difficult chapter of my life. Even though our business together has concluded, I still have their business cards and phone numbers saved in my phone. If I ever need a criminal defense attorney again, they will be the first call I make.   In September 2025, our 20-something daughter was arrested and charged with assault in San Antonio. Initially the court appointed a local San Antonio defense attorney to represent her. For the initial hearings, that attorney showed up late to court, greeting our daughter with "Tell me your name again and why are we here today?" Never answered a call. Never answered an email. Filed no defensive motions. Not comforting, and the handwriting on the wall said "TDCJ", so my wife and I decided to retain counsel for our daughter. Lawyer friends in Houston recommended Andrew del Cueto in San Antonio, and we quickly retained him and the firm, Ramos and Del Cueto. Within three days of signing the retainer, the Bexar County Justice Portal indicated that Attorney del Cueto had filed no less than ten motions with the court on our daughter's behalf. Within a week, we were sitting in Mr. del Cueto's office in San Antonio -- on a Saturday -- to discuss the case with him, my daughter, and his superb investigator - in Spanish and English. Not long thereafter, as discovery from the state rolled in, Mr. del Cueto invited us back to his office with our daughter to discuss the evidence, show us body-worn camera video, and explain his strategy for the case. All this occurred strictly within the bounds of ethics, and with a proactive approach I know to be uncommon in the legal profession. Result? Dismissal. Our daughter gets her life back.
