I was the client being referred to by "Rupert", and Counselor Quilty was my, OUSTANDING, attorney in this case; the 17th time my ex wife has drug our children through the family court system in an attempt to gain control of the time I am granted (expanded standard), by law, with my children. Before I dispel all of the accusations made by Miss Julissa Allen (Case: Rodriguez V. Rodriguez - Motion for Additional Temporary Orders) in her one star review I would briefly like to comment on the (case in point) level of maturity we were, are, and will likely forever be dealing with.
1. "Rupert" the nickname of Victor Gavallos, graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 2004, currently resides in San Francisco. The account has only left 14 reviews, all in the bay area, and Mr. Gavallos is not an attorney and was not involved in this case.
2. Miss Allen was opposing counsel in this case. However, she was forced into this role after her lawyer dropped her as a client; the fifth of Miss Allen's lawyers to do so (all): (Case: Motion to Withdraw - Brandt Bernstein of Bernstein & Bernstein). Miss Allen, while she does possess a criminal justice degree from UTSA, is not, has not been, and will never be a licensed attorney in this or any other state in the US. Miss Allen has also not been employed for the last 13 years, 7 of which she was married to me, and is completely dependent on the child support I provide (see image 1) and her 74 year old step father who has been forced into continual employment to support the luxurious lifestyle she maintains.
3. During the recent hearing, which took over 5 hours to complete, Judge Henderson constantly had to reprimand Miss Allen's behavior as being inappropriate, argumentative, overly aggressive, lacking substance, and generally incoherent. During the reading of his ruling, Miss Allen INTERUPTED THE JUDGE to argue which he responded with, "Don't interrupt or argue with me Miss Allen, quite frankly I found you to be very manipulative and controlling, and trust me, it did not bode well for you today!" Praise be to God, the judge found all of Miss Allen's allegations to be untruthful, he actually modified the Amicus' recommendation, ruled in our favor ON ALL COUNTS, and immediately returned our two angels to the more mature of their two parents. FINALLY, someone had stood up to this tyrant, read the situation for what it obviously was, and instituted family court justice... an unfortunate rarity for Father's in the Bexar County Family Court System. Once the Judge, myself, and THE WEIGHT had left the room, Miss Allen approached Counselor Quilty, (IN FRONT OF THE AMICUS, COURT REPORTER, AND BAILIFF) and screamed, "Aren't you a real woman's woman, representing that alcoholic abuser!" She then stormed out of the courtroom and slammed the door. I have never hit a woman, have never been charged with domestic violence, and of course, have never been convicted of any violent crimes. In fact, I have never been convicted of any major crimes other than a PI when I was in college and traffic violations.
4. Lastly, I want to address the alcoholic issue Miss Allen likes to loosely toss around. I will admit, yes, when Miss Allen took the two most important things in my life away from me for the first time since their birth, I did struggle to maintain control when I would consume alcohol. This is why I agreed in our original decree to being tested for alcohol 24 hours before I receive the children and everyday when I have custody of them (see images 2 and 3). I have never been convicted of an alcohol or substance related crime and have never consumed alcohol...A LEGAL THING TO DO, in front of any of my now five children (Mixed Family).
If you are a man, or a woman, and your ex partner REFUSES to have a healthy co parenting relationship with you, THAN MARIA QUILTY IS THE PERSON TO CALL. SHE GAVE ME BACK MY HEARTS. SHE IS A GOD SENT
In response to Rupert

I cannot recommend Attorney Orlando Kell highly enough. From the very beginning of my child custody and child support case, Mr. Kell demonstrated exceptional professionalism, knowledge, compassion, and dedication.
Family court matters are incredibly stressful and emotional, especially when your child’s well-being is at stake. Throughout this process, Mr. Kell took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly review the facts of my case, and develop a strong strategy that kept my child’s best interests at the center of every decision. Mr. Kell was always prepared, responsive, honest, and realistic about the legal process, which gave me confidence during one of the most difficult periods of my life.
What impressed me the most was Mr. Kell’s attention to detail and his ability to effectively present the evidence and facts before the court. My child has special needs and requires specific care with pediatric medical professionals. Mr. Kell understood the importance of my child’s educational, medical, and developmental needs, and ensured those concerns were clearly communicated and supported throughout my case.
We successfully finalized my child custody and child support case, and I truly believe that Mr. Kell’s expertise, preparation, and advocacy played a vital role in achieving this outcome. His professionalism never wavered, and I always felt that my child’s best interests were being protected. When the court process felt overwhelming, Mr. Kell remained a steady source of guidance and reassurance while promptly responding to my questions and concerns. I will always be grateful for the role that he played in helping protect my child’s future, and giving our family the stability that we need moving forward.
If you are looking for a family law attorney who is knowledgeable, compassionate, strategic, and genuinely invested in helping families navigate difficult legal situations, I wholeheartedly recommend Orlando Kell.
