  After speaking with attorneys from San Antonio to Dallas, along with several local firms in and around Kaufman County, I was relieved and grateful that this firm was willing to take on one of the most complex legal matters I have ever been involved in, an intestate probate case with multiple beneficiaries, real property, contracts, and two previous lawyers who couldn't handle the complexity. From the beginning, they stood out. This is not a simple case, and it requires more than just legal knowledge. It requires a deep knowledge of process, effective communication, and the ability to operate frictionless within the local court system. These attorneys bring all of that to the table. What has impressed me most is their professionalism and consistency under pressure. They do not engage in gamesmanship, legal theatrics, or intentional confusion. Instead, they are disciplined, precise, and rock solid on procedure and fact, which seems to matter more than anything in a courtroom. That approach builds credibility and keeps the case moving in the right direction. They are steady, responsive, and keep me informed at every stage. There are no surprises. In a situation like this, their level of communication is critical. I will also say this, I ask a lot of questions and I expect to understand what is happening.   A friend was going through a challenging personal injury case and was getting jerked around when trying to find an attorney. After hiring David they raved about his professionalism, care and overall success on the case that exceeded their expectations. When I called to inquire about my custody case they took the time to listen and help me understand the path ahead before ever sending me a contract. Prior consultations with other attorneys felt more like talking to a mechanic who just wanted to knock out the service and get paid. I looked up everything they said and tried representing myself but quickly realized that it would be in my best interest to have professionals handling the case because one bad decision on my part could cost me way more in child support and time with my child then their attorney fees which were actually very reasonable. CR represented me and did a great job of communicating regularly during the process and helping me understand all the options and routes my case could take. This really helped as I always want to know best and worst case scenario so that I can mentally prepare. While they primarily serve in Kaufman county, my case and that of my friends was in Dallas county and they understood the nuances in ways I never would have. Ultimately the case ended up lasting over a year so having someone like CR along the way made me feel more confident and supported during the challenging times. What I was not expecting was to see how different my coparents lawyer was treating her and doing things to run up the bill in ways CR did not. My coparent acknowledged how respectful CR was and ultimately fired her own lawyer. I ended up with a better outcome then I would have imagined and both me and my coparent felt peace in the end thanks to the approach CR took. Hiring a lawyer and going to court can be emotionally draining, especially custody cases, so if you're looking for a level of care and transparency that you wouldn't expect from attorneys, I suggest giving them a call.
