I wish there were more stars to give! When my husband was arrested on felony injury to a child charges due to false allegations made by my step son , I was terrified and had never dealt with any kind of legal situation before! A friend of the family referred me to Mr. Fickman. Rob called me at like 1:00 a.m. the evening my husband was arrested and walked me through the bond process, and gave me advice on what to communicate to my husband while he was in custody all before we even hired him. The Sunday my husband was released Rob met us at his office and explained to us in detail what we were dealing with. Throughout the legal process Rob was a ROCK STAR…he listened to our case and got to know our family on a personal level. Rob was always available anytime we had a question or had information to give him. He is direct, thorough, no nonsense, and doesn’t waste time on things that are not beneficial. After a long, stressful six months Rob got my husband’s case NO BILLED! Our family will forever be grateful to Mr. Fickman and his Assistant Märtha for the hard work and effort they put into protecting my husband and his FREEDOM!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Hiring this attorney was one of the greatest mistakes we have ever made. His representation was nothing short of a travesty.
Despite touting his “40 years of experience” at every turn (as though that were meant to inspire confidence rather than concern), he consistently demonstrated a shocking lack of preparation, empathy, or even basic human decency. He didn’t bother to understand who his client was, what he did for his community, or how deeply his sentencing would impact countless lives.
He portrayed my business partner to the court as a man he clearly didn’t know. Facts were misrepresented or omitted entirely – such as telling the court that only $12,000 was earned in a certain year, while failing to mention that he has earned six figures for the last two years since. Instead of humanizing his client, he reduced him to stereotypes and irrelevancies, ignoring the daily support his client (my business partner) provides to senior citizens and his community.
Worse yet, when my business partner attempted to share an intelligent, meaningful closing statement highlighting the societal cost of incarceration, his lawyer shut him down, telling him, “The court doesn’t care about money.” Ironically, in a country where fines are a standard alternative to prison time, this shows an appalling ignorance of how the justice system actually works.
He came across not as an advocate fighting for his client’s life and dignity, but as a tired old man waiting out his last cases until retirement. His lack of memory, preparation, and care placed an innocent man in prison in a system ready to label him a “terrorist” because of his ethnicity and profession.
If you want an attorney who actually knows your name the next day, who cares about your life and future, and who will fight for you with clarity, preparation, and truth – keep looking. This man is not it.
After consulting with many lawyers, Mr. Fickman initially stood out among the rest by taking the time to listen to and fully understand my background and my case. He was very flexible in coordinating meeting times and made available the use of email and text for communication. He always handled my case honestly, professionally, and in a timely manner. He was available when needed, walked me step-by-step through every process, answered all of my questions and concerns, and kept me updated throughout the case. He consistently kept me level-headed and gave great advice. Mr. Fickman has done an outstanding job and I would highly recommend and hire again!
Uplifting experience. Mr. Fickman's display of professionalism simplifies his compassion for clients. Great communication with absolutely no doubt about his passion for the job. I feel blessed having Mr. Fickman fight for me.

Super well educated man, knows the ins and outs of the system, Always not once did i doubt him by the way he expressed himself and went out of his way for a lot of things, very well recommended out of 53 people that appeared in court only 1 person was found not guilty and that was Mr Robert Frickman’s Client (my uncle)
Very well recommended
