Today, May 15th, 2026, I had an exceptional experience speaking with Mrs. Ana Sanchez at Texas Tax Protest! After looking into several companies online and seeing the high contingency fees charged, I was glad to settle on a company one of my siblings recommended. So not only is their contingency fee reasonable, but Mrs. Ana was also extremely thorough and patient. She answered all my questions and was patient in hearing what I had to say as well. I know today is a busy day for this company, but I did not feel hurried or like a burden. She was very kind and extremely helpful. I look forward to seeing what can be done in my case and will update my review with what results come about. I know ultimately it will be up to HCAD, but I feel that Texas Tax Protest will do their best, especially since my sibling has stayed using their services. THANK YOU MRS. SANCHEZ!

Please read. This involves TTP not abiding by its contract and their having sent me a Nondisclosure Agreement.
Good experience the first year, but it was a different story, thereafter. I should take this company to small claims court, but I do not want to take the time away from running my business, so I will just let you all know to look elsewhere.
I transferred my property to a revocable trust, and somehow, the CAD changed my representing agent in the system from TTP to another servicer I had never dealt with. This was not the fault of TTP.
However, I continued to pay my annual fees for their services, and despite that, along with their finding out they were not listed and could not represent me, they never got in touch to let me know.
I thought I received an adjustment in 2024, but I was in my first year of business and apparently fabricated that in my head. Fast forward to 2025. The same situation was still in place. I was still paying these guys, and they were still not able to represent me.
I emailed a couple times in Q3 and Q4 of 2025 to check on my protest status, and instead of looking at my account to let me know there was an issue, they just gave me the blanket response that protest results can take time. I COULD HAVE ADDRESSED THE ISSUE AND FIXED IT HAD THEY BOTHERED TO EVEN LOOK AT MY ACCOUNT.
I only found out after multiple emails, contacting the CAD, contacting the incorrect agency that was listed for my property, etc.
Even still, the CAD had actually sent TTP notices to appear for my protest and provided me with the evidence they did. TTP just never bothered to show up. Here is where it gets better.
After returning to TTP with this information, they offered my $100 back for the past two years of fees but said I would need to sign a Docusign to get it. Fine. I read said document when it was sent, and it was a NONDISCLOSURE AGREEMENT, essentially barring me from ever reporting what happened. They wanted to buy my freedom to review them publicly with my own money!
They said the document was not really intended to be an NDA, but rest assured, had I signed it, they would absolutely have enforced it. They said they just needed that document signed due to the original contract stating refunds are not allowed. They were only offering to send my money back due to my having proof they did not uphold their end of the contract.
Obviously, I told them to keep my $100 because my freedom of speech is worth far more than that.
Over the last two years, I would have likely saved on over $1,000 in property taxes. Almost certainly, I would have saved over $700 this past year.
