  If you find yourself on the other end of the law, look no further than John Cook. He is honest. He is ethical. He is extremely talented in his craft. He knows the criminal justice system inside and out. If anyone ever asks me if I know an excellent criminal defense attorney, I automatically start with him. He can handle anything from simple misdemeanors to capital murder charges. He has been doing this a long time and knows everyone in the game. I highly recommend this attorney, and I don’t say that lightly, because I know what is potentially at stake.

  I first met John Cook more than 20 years ago when I was on the the Jurors in of his trial case. I was so impressed how good he is in defending his client that at the end of the day, the Judge dismissed the case. I told myself I will remember his name as I might need him in the future but never bothered to write his name down. Last year I ran into some problems and really needed a Lawyer to represent me with my case. I have been praying to God to find me a good lawyer to help me. One suddenly woke up one early morning at 3am and his name just popped out of my head. John Cook! So I called him the next day. John Cook is very professional and a great attorney. He gave me the best advise on what to do. He guided me during my stressful periods of my life. Showed good judgement in preparing my defense. He treated my case as if I was someone very close to him. Ultimately, my charges were dismissed. He really did a very good job. John, thank you very much. You are the best! I highly recommend him to anybody. I guarantee it, you will never regret it.

  First off I did not win my trial, after seeing the evidence mounted against me I am surprised John stuck it out with me. I am and will be forever grateful he did. I am, or was a first responder for 29 years and was already into my second career. John was able to negotiate a deal so I could keep that job. Now let's talk about John "tha man", he truly cares about his clients more than any, and I mean any attorney I have ever seen or heard of. At the end of it all I feel he was more upset about the outcome than I was. He made me feel calm throughout the entire ordeal and to say I was stressed is an understatement. I am not sure either one of us had any idea what an 8 ball we were behind going in. Galveston County justice system is the most corrupt system I have ever seen, and I will most certainly appeal the outcome. I will always appreciate the amount of the work he put in for myself and my case!

  I am so pleased to leave this 5-star review for John M. Cook, Attorney at Law! I recently had an Intoxication Assault – Serious Bodily Injury (a felony) charge in Rockwall County. Mr. Cook expertly handled the ALR hearing and was able to use it to gather crucial evidence. He held my hand every step of the way and was so supportive of both me and my family. I’m pleased to report that Mr. Cook was able to get the Rockwall DA to dismiss the case altogether! I am so relieved and happy to be able to move on with my life without having this hanging over my head. If you want the best Texas DWI attorney, I highly recommend John M. Cook!
