Legal Aid Society provides free civil legal help to thousands of Tennesseans each year. Because demand for services far exceeds available funding and staff capacity, we are not able to assist everyone who contacts us.
If we are unable to take your case, it does not mean your legal issue is not serious or important. We encourage you to visit our website for self-help tools, legal information, and referrals to other community resources.
We are continually working to expand access to justice across Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands.
