- BBBrutus the BulldogJun 17, 20261.0We hired Mr Howard to work our child custody case. He wanted more time to work on the case so we allowed him to reschedule. We were told by his secretary to be in Sumner County Court on June 3rd at 01:30 PM. On June 3rd at 10:00 AM I called the Sumner County Juvenile Court Clerk to affirm the time and low and behold we were supposed to be at court at 09:00 AM and our case had already been heard and dismissed. I called Mr Howard’s secretary and she told me Mr Howard was in Bedford County when he should have been at my child custody hearing in Sumner County. She told me don’t worry your juvenile court case will be heard next week. I thought how can that even be possible? It wasn’t possible actually. I lost at least 2 months on my custody case a day of PTO from my work and $180 filing fee. Mr Howard suggested a refund and I accepted. However, he didn’t think his secretary’s huge mistake of sending us to court at the wrong time should cost him anything and only refunded me back $2050 of my $2500 retainer fee. Keep in mind I’m out $180 filing fee 2 months wasted on the case and 1 day of PTO and I will have to go file the petition all over again. Total waste of time and money.

I had a dui case that was a bit unfair and he got it resolved to lesser charges which was a blessing. He’s good with communication and he’s good rapport with the court systems. I highly recommend him on any dui cases .
