It was often difficult to find out what was happening with my case, and I felt like I was left in the dark for long periods of time. On numerous occasions, I had to be the one to call and request updates. Instead of receiving proactive communication from my attorney or legal team, I would only learn about important developments or documents needed for my case after I reached out myself. It was frustrating to discover that there were things required to move my case forward that had never been communicated to me until I called asking for a status update.
