  What I appreciated most was that I worked directly with Jason throughout the entire process. There was no intermediary handling my case or my questions. Whenever I had a question or concern, Jason responded personally and very promptly, often right away. That level of accessibility and communication made a tremendous difference and gave me confidence throughout the process. He was always clear and honest, patiently answered my questions, explained every step, and made sure I knew what to expect next. I am extremely grateful for Jason’s guidance, professionalism, and dedication. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an immigration attorney who is not only knowledgeable and competent, but also personally involved and genuinely responsive to his clients.   When my fiancé (at the time... now my husband) and I decided to pursue the long winding road that is permanent resident status in the US, we researched numerous immigration law firms in the Greater Pittsburgh area. After communicating with several law firms (and immigration attorneys), we chose to then contact Mr. Karavias. He graciously took our initial call, listened to our story and the details of what would be our pursuit of permanent residence status and offered honest , no-nonsense advice. Mr. Karavias was forthright, patient, and frank in telling us what we needed to know before we embarked on our long journey. Several months later, we decided to retain Mr. Karavias as our legal representative to guide us and assist us in our travels through the US immigration system. Along the way, Mr. Karavias was communicative (always answered either our phone calls or replied to our emails in a very timely manner), diligent, thorough and detailed in presenting us with his opinions, suggestions and legal advice. Mr. Karavias was specific in what information was optimal to best ensure a positive outcome for our case with USCIS. He assisted us in preparation, completion and submission of all necessary forms and documents (often relaying necessary paperwork to USCIS on our behalf). Mr. Karavias also joined us at our interview, arriving early with a fully prepared dossier of documentation. His presence was a calming influence, which helped alleviate our anxiety before our USCIS interview. He joined us in the interview, interjecting only when necessary (otherwise allowing us to effectively communicate with the USCIS officer for our interview). After the interview concluded, he shared his reflections, opinions and observations and was patient in answering several questions we had. Therefore, it is with the highest and greatest level of confidence that we recommend Mr. Jason Karavias, Esq., to anyone who is in search of an honest, knowledgeable, candid, experienced, communicative, diligent, frank, dependable immigration attorney. Retaining him as our immigration attorney was the first in what would be many wise decisions which lead us to a positive outcome.   I would highly recommend anyone who is struggling to find a reliable and very organized lawyer to go with Jason! The main thing I loved about him was he was very knowledgeable and no matter how many clients at the same time he has, he still makes sure to have one on one conversations and go over every detail. He made sure to inform us through each step and how it will work and what to expect. As soon as my husband would call, Jason would always answer or make sure to always give a call back in a timely manner. He also was very attentive when it came time for the biggest step in the process and prepared us for the interview! If we didn't go with Jason, we wouldn't be where we are right now. As for the future, me and my husband will be for sure going with Jason again because we know it will be handled properly and the money you pay is well spent. I am very thankful that he was there to help and also willing to help in the near future!
