- WJWilliam JohnsJun 1, 20265.0I was walking on York Street in Pottstown when I walked past 305 York Street when 2 dog rushed me and one bit me on the arm as I was passing by. The owners child was at the back door yelling that someone was walking down the street and that’s when both dogs ran towards me. The dog that bit me was on a leash that no one was holding, and the other dog was not on a leash but was barking at me. The dog bit me and regripped twice before the owner yelled “hey” towards the dogs, who did nothing at first but eventually retreated. I returned home where I called 911 and brought police down to the house. Animal control removed the dog from the owners custody to quarantine for 10 days.
