  My experience with Greenberg Gross began positively but ultimately raised significant concerns about consistency, communication, and accountability during intake. After reviewing my evidentiary materials, Sammy Sugiura told me in writing that the exhibits were “really helpful” and that I had “compelling evidence” to push back against the employer’s defenses. After further review and two missed decision timeframes, I raised concerns about the process. That same morning, I was first told no decision had been made and later received a categorical rejection stating I lacked even a prima facie case. The final assessment also contained factual inaccuracies, including attributing my termination to my “management style,” although I was not a manager. I fully respect a firm’s right to reassess and decline any matter. My concern is the unexplained shift, missed timelines, factual inaccuracies, and communication. I responded substantively to those issues. As of this review, neither Sammy, Sagar Shah, nor Alan Greenberg has acknowledged that subsequent feedback. Given the extent of the intake, and Sagar’s role in referring my matter internally for further evaluation, I expected at minimum an acknowledgment of the concerns I raised.

  I reached out to this law firm hoping for real help, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The intake specialist couldn’t seem to separate judgment from facts, and the way my situation was handled felt rushed and dismissive. When my information was allegedly being "passed" to an actual attorney, it took less than a hot second for her to respond with “we can’t take your case” no explanation, no reasoning, not even a hint. I always thought lawyers were supposed to fight for people, or at least show some interest in understanding a case before rejecting it. This firm didn’t show either. If you’re looking for someone who actually listens and advocates for you, I wouldn’t recommend starting here.
