  They were fine. I was assigned a partner ($$) to get a post-marital document signed. Literally just needed an attorney to sign it with me. $2500 retainer turned into $1400 when all was said and done including a $200 fee to "close the file". Pretty sure that's not a normal thing. Also took over two months and a couple follow-up emails to even have them issue my retainer refund. My husband's local lawyer issued his refund within a couple weeks of concluding their business, so unsure why it took so long. My husband's lawyer also noticed that my attorney's name was spelled wrong on one of the documents and that we only signed two out of four necessary documents, so that all had to be amended. When I'm paying a lawyer $600 an hour for hardly any work, I expect those mistakes to be caught.

  I first contacted Pacific after my relationship was entering into an unhealthy dynamic for advice on custody. Three months later, when I retained their services, they had kept the original notes on my file and were ready to start working on my case in short order. Pacific also didn't pressure me to immediately go into arbitration or court. They listened to what I wanted to do and were understanding of the particular issues of my case. I would highly recommend that anyone in a possible custody suit talk to a Pacific Cascade representative to see if they would be a good fit for your case.
