  Contrareas quit my case at trial over like 400 bucks I had done paid him $9600 then to make it worse I found in my court papers he got permission to take money out of accounts in my name he was attorney at law not power of attorney the most unprofessional lawyer around cant be trusted he treated me like a drug addict every time I went to his office even tho I was dropping 3 racks a visit once again supposed to be my paid attorney not a drug counselor that gave lack of assistance and seemed more.worried about pointing out my addiction than legally representing a paid client and he also told me I was at the top of the list to be busted again wich tells me he was speaking about me or in conversation about me when being a paid attorney or probono he broke the confidentiality agreement between lawyer client and his oath as a lawyer so I would say to watch this man he sailed me up the river luckily Blake Lynch stepped up to the plate and got me a sentence reduction cause contrareas pled me out to a full sentence on revocation and new charges and Blake did it for free alright I'm done here these are all facts and I'm exercising my rights to freedom of speech to express my disappointment in the unfairness I was treated with by this law firm.

  I'm not sure if it's possible to hire a lawyer that could do a more poorly pure lazy job than Jeff H. Contreras. It was impossible to get him or his staff to answer the phone having to call the courts myself for updates. He showed up to court twice on the wrong dates claiming his undersigned staff failed to update the schedule even tho the dates never changed once set from the previous court hearing not sure why the schedule needed to be updated to begin with. Once he receives money he will not talk to about the case except at the court house just before court is scheduled to start he puts in very little effort and he rides the line on ethics to say the least save yourself the stress and time of having to fire him and hire Wagner and Lynch from the start. Hiring him was probably the worst decision of my life.

  Jeff is the best lawyer I have ever used. He caught dhs workers in lies, family members in lies, and in 2018 I was able to adopt my granddaughter with a stack of crimal cases and prison, because he seen the good in my after my conversion with the Lord. I now have a beautiful 10 year old that loves the Lord. I am Sunday school teacher, a minister in the jail for women and do Bible study and I credit Jeff as being an inspiration in my life.

  He was amazing got my daughter back in less then 3 months after having my rights terminated for the 4 older kids he's open honest and honestly cares for u working hard to provide the best legal defense possible id definitely hire him if not your wasting time and money else where.
