- MDMark Dodosh4 days ago5.0It had been several years since our will had been updated, and my wife and I thought it would be good to have a fresh set of eyes give our will and our entire estate plan a look. We asked our attorney son Nick whether he could recommend a good estate lawyer, and without hesitation he gave us the name of Susan Richlak. We are so glad he did. Susan put us at ease from the moment we met her. We were impressed by her thoroughness in explaining how we best could accomplish our estate planning goals as well as her eagerness to answer any questions we had. A tool Susan uses that was extremely beneficial in guiding our conversation was her asset transfer pyramid, which is a terrific visual that helps her clients understand what makes estate planning sense and what does not. Susan took careful notes about what we wanted to accomplish with our will and estate plan, then gave us “homework” to do to make sure we nailed down the particulars of how our assets would be passed along to our heirs. My wife and I believe we are in excellent hands with Susan and we would highly recommend her to our family and friends and anyone else in need of estate planning services.
